i am not saying shitty things didnt happen at residential schools .they most certainly did but they tried their hardest to make this out to be aushwitz 2.0 and it just wasnt so. i am surprised they didnt bring out a pile of shoes to make everyone feel guilty. they are trying to make it illegal to deny the residential school holocaust in canada too

ironically @Freeloading Rusty worked for the very system that would have taken these kids away from their parents and shipped them off in the first place. the government still takes tons of indigenous kids away and sends them to foster care and its all done by social workers
