Thrasher was my favorite morning personality.Back then he went up against Mark & Brian from KLOS,Howard Stern & Rick Dees on KISS FM.I can`t remember the other rock stations DJ`s.I guess that Thrasher did do some KNAC nights at California Dreams in Anaheim but I missed them.

KNAC even had a phone staff to help the DJ's.The female helpers were called KNAC phone Foxes & I will post some of those also.

Remember I said that KNAC had beach parties.This ultra rare shirt was on sale on E-bay for $349.00.

KNAC was inducted into the Rock Radio Hall of Fame in the "Legends of Rock Radio-Stations" category in 2014.

San Diego cannot even receive the KNAC signal,but you notice the KNAC stickers & shirts can be seen in this Metallica show in San Diego.KNAC stuff can be seen :24 seconds into the video & happens throughout the video.

They had KNAC nights at the Red Onion in LA & Orange county.I mostly went to the the Red Onion in Orange & Fullerton.But also went to the ones in Huntington Beach & Riverside.

80's/90s was a great time for rock. In this area we had WEBN for rock. "The Lunatic Fringe of American FM". It was all I ever listened to.

Their morning show "The Dawn Patrol" was particularly popular. Funny ass DJs and they were always doing crazy shit.

They are still a huge station. They put on one of the biggest firework shows in the country every Lsbor Day Weekend on the Ohio River.

I was attending MMA events in California as soon as they got here in 1998.I went to every show in NorCal.I went to so many shows & sat cageside that I was put on a VIP list.When the time came that I could not make a show....I was asked why & I said that I was in between jobs & I did not have much money.I was then offered a job with the IFC to be on the Road & Cage crew.
