Not a bad deal for Dana if true. He sells his 9% stake for $377 million, and picks up 6% to 7% of the company with an initial value of $251 to $293 million

My impression is that the company won’t change much, at least from a public perception standpoint.

Jeremy Botter ‏@jeremybotter 8m8 minutes ago
The potential new owners are happy to allow things to continue to run the way they have. No drastic changes outside of Lorenzo/Frank gone.

The new ownership group will also allow easy expansion into China, so there could be huge international growth in store.

I expect the company to remain privately held.

The potential selling price, if accepted, makes UFC the most valuable sporting franchise in the world.

All current deals would stay in place until the end of term.

The Fertittas are aggressively expanding casino business. This deal gives them a massive bankroll to work with.

Jeremy Botter ‏@jeremybotter 3m3 minutes ago
I’ve been told the Fertittas are no longer happy just being “locals” casino owners. They want to make their mark on the strip itself.

And the stuff about Lorenzo wanting to be involved with the Raiders in Vegas….100% true.

How the hell can tiny swole and co. expand the casino business and get involved with the raiders? Conflict of interest?

What is the conflict?

What a name for a fighter.

Martin "Got" Merkt
Its actually a German word that means 'notices', like, he notices = er merkt. :)

The most interesting name is Timo Feucht though. Feucht means wet, also like in.. wet pussy. :D

Well this fighter from germany isn't doing bad at all and his little brother is on his way up there too.

Abu

I thought about including Abu, but decided he is too old in a too deep division to make some big waves in the future. But if he proves me wrong, I'm not gonna be mad. :D
His brother is interesting, but his level of competition just wasn't noteworthy yet. We will see. There are a lot of up and comers with 5-0 or 6-0 and the likes, but unless its in a thin division (like hw) or they fought anyone proven good, I didn't wanna jump the gun.

Interesting. Man owner of the patriots and the ufc, crazy shit if this comes to fruition. Seems like almost all the buyers were interested in keeping Dana on to steer the ship. I imagine status quo won't change much but I'm interested to see Dana without the fertittas above him.

I honestly can't tell if its a good or bad thing. Probably both in different issues.

Kraft is buying UFC? Lots of cheddar to go around then I'd expect.

The Diaz boys will be happy!

aint no chance in hell. either way the fighters arent getting paid shit unless the ali act happens
The Ali act will fracture the sport and much like boxing it'd only truly increase pay for the top of fighters who draw. The middle class of fighters would suffer big time like they do in boxing. Our government is wholly incompetent when it comes to our sport.... I get its cool to hate on zuffa but I can't believe so many of you think this is a good idea.
