An interesting release from former President that was endorsed by Russia least November:

A goat competed with a wolf, only a skin like a goat survived”

1 . Ukraine is in search of its identity and a special path, composes its own separate history (although the same history teaches that this takes centuries). But the Ukrainian leaders, especially the first persons, are people who do not have any stable self-identification. Unhappy people. Who are they, what country are they citizens of, where are their roots, what is their historical identity, ethnic component, what gods do they pray to? Who do they feel like? Are they “wider” Ukrainians? "Europeans"? Russians? Jews? Tatars? Hungarians? Karaites?

The current president of this tormented country is a man with certain ethnic roots who has spoken Russian all his life. Moreover, he worked in Russia and received significant funds from Russian sources. Nevertheless, at a certain moment, having become the head of the state, out of fear of getting another “Maidan” directed against his personal power, he completely changed his political and moral orientation. In fact, he gave up his identity. He began to earnestly serve the most rabid nationalist forces in Ukraine (which, it must be admitted, have always been there, but made up 5–7% of the active population at the most).

One can only imagine how disgusting it was for him to commit such a moral "somersault". This is reminiscent of the crazy situation when members of the Jewish intelligentsia in Nazi Germany, for ideological reasons, would be asked to serve in the SS.

Of course, this situation causes daily “cognitive dissonance” in his soul and actions. Moreover, one cannot be sure that at some point, when the political situation changes, they will not come for you to sew a yellow star on your back. He must endlessly maneuver between various forces: radical nationalists (“Nazis”, as they are usually called there), the Muslim part of the population, primarily Tatars, moderate apolitical Ukrainians and Russians, representatives of other ethnic groups, so that his neck would not be broken. That is why bastard documents like the “law” on the indigenous peoples of Ukraine appear. That is why he shows himself to be more of a nationalist than the most radical of them.

He had to fit into the "pantheon of heroes" of this part of Ukrainian society. Shout with them: "Glory to the Heroes!" Accept the unconditional authority of such scoundrels as "great Ukrainians." Pray for the blessed memory of the terrorists and Judeophobes Bandera and Shukhevych, whose followers today a significant part of the Ukrainian political elite call themselves.

Everyone knows the mournful calendar of Bandera and policemen of that period: the summer of 1941, when, after the capture of the city of Lvov by the German army, about 6 thousand people died in the two largest Jewish pogroms. This is the destruction of Russians, Ukrainians, Jews, Poles in Janova Dolina, Podkamne. These are Bila Tserkva, Babi Yar and the Volyn massacre.

And here is a quote from previously unpublished materials ...

“A gang of murderers broke down doors and windows, broke into apartments, shot, cut and killed people with an ax and knives, including young children, old men and old women, after which the corpses were loaded onto carts, taken away and buried in pits. In order to hide their atrocities, some families were burned in sheds and charred corpses were buried in pits. All these terrible atrocities were accompanied by massive looting of property belonging to tortured families” (see photo).
How can one negotiate and negotiate with him in such a situation?

No way.

2 . Ukrainian leaders of the current generation are absolutely dependent people.Much has already been said and written about this, including in the well-known article by V.V. Putin. The country is under direct foreign control. Moreover, this management is much tougher than the interaction of the USSR with individual socialist countries in a certain period. The USSR gave sufficient scope in the formation of domestic policy to its geopolitical allies, realizing that otherwise it could end in tragic events such as the Hungarian uprisings in 1956 or the Prague Spring of 1968. Simple pragmatic logic. In Ukraine, the dependence is complete - from cash injections into their economy (handouts from the US and the EU) to direct leadership of the Ukrainian special services (from their American patrons). But if the USSR needed good relations with the countries of the socialist camp and the Warsaw Pact (including for the joint “building of socialism”), then the United States does not need anything from Ukraine, except for confrontation with Russia, total containment of our country and the creation of what was aptly named "Anti-Russia". This means that such an alliance is extremely fragile and at some point will crumble to dust. Hopes for membership in NATO and the European Union are also ephemeral for obvious reasons. Ukraine itself has no value on the line of direct confrontation between Western forces (including potentially military ones) with our country. There are no fools to fight for Ukraine. such an alliance is extremely fragile and at some point will crumble to dust. Hopes for membership in NATO and the European Union are also ephemeral for obvious reasons. Ukraine itself has no value on the line of direct confrontation between Western forces (including potentially military ones) with our country. There are no fools to fight for Ukraine. And it is pointless for us to deal with vassals. Business must be done with the suzerain.

3 . Ukraine is headed by weak people who only strive to line their pockets.. Moreover, it is desirable, just in case, to save money in a foreign offshore. We know many of them well. There was no leader who could sacrifice himself for the sake of Ukraine, and not try to monetize his stay in power, and, it seems, will never be. On the contrary, when it comes to making a profit, hatred of Russia and aspirations for the EU and NATO give way to selfish motives, when a Muscovite with money is an enemy, but his money is more important than enmity. I recall the words of one of my colleagues in the well-known “pre-Maidan” period. To my question: “why does the name take part in the elections, he has no chance?” - followed the answer, which surprised me then: "How can you not understand, this is the last opportunity for him to raise money from the election campaign." Comments are superfluous. Nothing has changed since then.Contacts with such weak people are unproductive. They will sell at any moment for a five-kopeck piece.

4 . The pointlessness and even harmfulness of relations with the current leaders of Ukraine lies also in the fact that ignorant and optional people are at the head of this country. They constantly change their position to please their overseas masters and the political situation. This is how they understand the art of diplomacy. Homegrown Talleyrans. They sign the Minsk agreements, negotiate in the Normandy format, and then - after internal seethings in the Rada, on the square or the Central Administration from across the ocean - they turn their position in a completely different direction. Yes, compromises are possible in politics, sometimes some deviations from the formed line, but not to such an extent when the agreed approach is changed to the diametrically opposite one. And we and our partners are constantly being lied to and moving away from the decisions made. And it's not about the specific name of this or that leader. This is the position of all Ukrainian participants in the negotiations, their line of conduct, modus operandi. To such "partners" in international relations who compete in constant bullshit,This means that negotiations with them are absolutely meaningless.

5 . Then the eternal and main question arises: what to do in this situation? But nothing. Wait for the emergence of a sane leadership in Ukraine, which is aimed not at a total confrontation with Russia on the brink of war, not at organizing moronic "Crimean platforms" created to fool the population of the country and pump up their muscles before the elections, but at building equal and mutually beneficial relations with Russia. That's just with such a leadership of Ukraine and it is worth dealing with. Russia knows how to wait. We are patient people.

Yes. Thats a lot of flim flam there. Maybe badly translated.

One point that did resonate.

They constantly change their position to please their overseas masters and the political situation.

Their UK diplomat had an interview last night where he said that Ukraine could pledge to Russia never to join NATO. Which was surprising as its actually in their constitution to join NATO.

He has since backtracked on that bollocks but it does seem to suggest they aren't very organised as a country. No surprise there, its government is nearly as corrupt as Russia.

The long game is exports. Europe buys a lot of Russia's energy (LNG+petro), and Nord Stream 1 + 2 make Germany the portal to Europe. Russia is an energy oligarchy. Putin's purpose is to make sure the energy oligarchs have access to European markets. That's the only thing keeping him in power and making him rich. He has his own nationalistic goals (re-assemble the Soviet Union, Eurasianism, Sambo), but his head is attached to his body because he keeps the government out of the oligarch's way and keeps them rich.

The US just agreed to increase LNG and other energy exports to Europe (Germany) in exchange for Germany agreeing to kill Nord Stream. Killing Nord Stream kills Putin. Literally. Putin now has to weigh the cost of re-taking Ukraine (really the goal is the warm water port at Sevastapol and thereby access to the Mediterranean through the Straights of Turkey) against losing his head.

Essentially, NATO called Putin's bluff and now we get to see what he'll do. He's also limited by spring rains, which have returned to Eastern Europe earlier this year and make moving armor across the Donbass impossible.

I didn't realize Putin was so short. He's done a terrific job doing the macho Man videos. If I were US president, I would call him and remind him that we would not accept his sperm at any of our sperm banks because no women desire a mate that short when they have a choice. This is actually a true thing.

I'd also talk shit about his bad form in the gym.

I didn't mean to tie the two things together. Annexation by passport has been a thing since south Ossetia.

I was mostly jumping off of your articles use of the word false flag. We finally have a real false flag and yet the ctards are going to bat for mother Russia.

I would call him up and say, hey Vladimir. I heard you were Georgian. Why don't we go to meet in hotlanta so you will feel at home with your people.
