It’s a prohibitively expensive system and not really used for defending against the types of attacks Russia does.
It's super awesome and they should be nice and give it to them for free because Russia.

Imagine staging 150,000 troops and then losing the war to a smaller less prepared force because of a traffic jam.

I think what actually happened is a bunch of them just instinctually caused accidents for insurance claims forgetting they were in military vehicles.

I’m also not sure that the Ukranian forces were less prepared
I mostly just considering the idea of what happens at the Ukrainians were to actually win. I still don't think it happens. I haven't changed my thinking on what's probable. But I'm really laughing at the idea that Russia spend all this time and then get screwed two ways and we get to talk about this convoy for the next 5 years in memes

There’s going to be a lot more disgusting stories that emerge as this continues. More rape and racism on top of the war. Humans are gross.
Yes. Humanity as a "collective" group is pretty shitty. Filled with tribalism and racist fucks.

I gave up on humanity as a collective long ago. I protect myself with what could be
considered a virtual armory of guns and 4 protection trained Dogo Argentinos.

Humans can be decent if they are raised correctly though....

Quick story... When I was 8 years old my family moved to an all white community
because my stepdad got a new job in the area.

I was the only black kid in the entire elementary school. I got called a lot of shit to say the least.

To date my favorite is "Mango Munchin Monkey" (that took some creative thought).

Despite that I did had many friends. 1 year another black family moved on our street.
They had a kid my age and we became great friends too.

Well my mom started to notice I was hanging out with the new black kid more then my white friends.

She asked me why and I gave a typical kids reponse. I said "because he's black like me".

She snatched me so hard and beat me from pillar to post.

After the ass whoopin she simply said - "Michael was your best friend before and he is white
Don't you ever hangout with someone based on their race. You will hang out with
both of them and If I see any different I'm gonna whoop your ass again."

Hence from 8 years old I've had close friends fromall races and ethnicities.

I simply don't view people based on race. It was literally beaten out of me as a child

Amid ongoing operations by the Russian Military on the territory of neighbouring Ukraine, the largest air battle of the conflict on March 5 reportedly saw four Ukrainian Su-27 Flanker fighter jets shot down in an air battle around the western Ukrainian city of Zhytomir. While it was specified that Russian air defences had shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter, Su-25 attack jet and Bayraktar drone, the Su-27s were reportedly shot down in air to air combat. This would represent the first ever confirmed loss of a Su-27 in air to air engagements, and its first confirmed air to air engagement since entering service other than the 1997-98 Ethiopian Eritrean War. Prior Su-27 air to air engagements saw the elite heavyweight fighters, which at the time were widely considered the most capable in the world, shot down four lighter Eritrean MiG-29 fighters for no losses. The Su-27 is by far the most formidable aerial warfare asset in Ukrainian service, and an estimated 35 were in service when Russia began military operations on February 24 although on the first day one was lost to friendly fire from the ground while another saw its pilot flee with the plane to Romania. More are thought to have been destroyed during Russian strikes on Ukrainian airbases.

I feel like they'd be better to just stop buying Russian oil and reallocate that money to Ukraine.
The boats might be worth more.

This represented three percent of US crude oil imports and one percent of the total crude oil processed by US refineries. By contrast, the US imported 61 percent of its crude oil from Canada, 10 percent from Mexico, and six percent from Saudi Arabia in the same year.

200k barrels per day x $100/barrel= $20M/day. $20M/day x 365= $7.3B That's a lot of scratch and it doesn't involve writing laws that will probably get struck down anyways.
