Put them on a train like Russia wouldGetting them to Ukraine is still the tricky bit.
They can't be flown in by NATO pilots, that breaches neutrality.
No country will want Ukranian pilots to fly them from their airfields either, for similar reasons.
Are the Ukrainian and Russian Jets close enough that they can just pick him up and fly immediately?Or, they could just see if any Russian pilots will take up their offer:

Almost one Iraq war of soldiers.@SongExotic2 The US is estimating between 2,000 and 4,000 Russian soldiers dead so far:

U.S. says up to 4,000 Russian soldiers have died in Ukraine invasion
"Moscow underestimated the strength of Ukraine’s resistance," a top intel official said, but Putin may feel compelled to fight on with "reckless disregard" for civilians.www.nbcnews.com
I expect they would have to swap out the transponders and paint a new flag on them at the very least lol.Almost one Iraq war of soldiers.
We are out of touch with how bad war is and how much it's going to affect all of us if we get into a big war.
If we get nuked now, it's on us. This is deplorable.McDonalds have decided to shut down their "restaurants" (sorry for the quotation marks lol) in Russia for the time being. They say they will continue to pay employees there.
They have over 800 places in Russia, and apparently they are owned by McDonalds directly rather than being franchises.
McDonald's To Temporarily Close Restaurants & Pause Operations in Russia
McDonald's Corporation has provided immediate financial support to our team in Ukraine, paying full salaries, donating $5 million to our Employee Assistance Fund & continues to support relief efforts led by the International Red Cross in the region.corporate.mcdonalds.com
Even in their statement about pausing their operations in Russia due to the war in Ukraine, they couldn't resist a bit of shitty marketing speak: " For 66 years, we have operated with the belief that communities are made better when there’s a McDonald’s nearby. " Lol.

I know you don't really care if Ukraine loses. But if you have any interest and protecting American troops or even just your friend's nephew, you should not post about any information sent back without a large time delay. Current time and place is how risk begins.Shit just got real. What will Russia do without McGriddles
breakfast sandwiches?
Russia: "We have to pull out.The US has gone too far.
Next they will take away KFC honey wings. We have lost.
We are beaten comrades"
On another note. The US is doing something over there
militarily. I just got a message from my friends nephew. He's been deployed 1 mile from the Polish border.
Will be interesting to see what he reports
When I get recruited by foreign armies, it’s as an officer in the engineers. Okay?!?
They’re the exact same jets or based on the flanker frame so yesAre the Ukrainian and Russian Jets close enough that they can just pick him up and fly immediately?
I'm kind of a weirdo. If I wasn't in private practice with obligations to so many patients and my staff I'd probably already be messaging you to figure out how we're going over. I have a rather good background for austere medicine in both unsupported international environments and military environments. And you could work those Russians into a living death. A match made in heaven. When I get recruited by foreign armies, it’s as an officer in the engineers. Okay?!?
Oh I understand. His family already posted on Facebook. I wondered the same thing. I'll speak to his father this evening to see what's going on myself.I know you don't really care if Ukraine loses. Those nuances escape me. I just read somewhere that the Polish migs are not exact and that there's some amount of learning curve for Ukrainian pilots to use them to involves training. I don't know how much that is, but it was a topic that made me aware that not all migs are the same even when the same modelsThey’re the exact same jets or based on the flanker frame so yes
I was once deployed to a classified site in Africa. I would have to tell my wife that I was going on missions for a few weeks. I was really leaving the unclassified area to the classified area. I would even tell her that days before I actually left so she couldn't accidentally give the timeline totally accurately. Of course some Joe had to tell his mom where he was while also using our code name for the place. She posted it on Facebook. Derp. " So happy for my son at whiskey tango foxtrot" ?Oh I understand. Haha too funny. I have lots of close friends and relatives in the US military. I suspect if something is going on I'll be getting a lot of misleading messages and locations the next couple weeks then.I was once deployed to a classified site in Africa.
