Short of Russia attacking NATO I'd be real surprised to see US troops move from a defensive and training posture to going into Ukraine.

He said 40k were ready to be immediately deployed in 'Nato' countries. Obviously he didn't say which ones. But he did threaten Putin that even the smallest entry to a Nato country would be met with the full Force of Nato. Army, Naval and air.

He didn't seem to be fucking around.

I did an interesting companion piece about Taiwan today.

They've increased the reservists training days from 7 to 14 and I didn't know this but Taiwan is about to complete one of the biggest arms deal with the States in history. China is very triggered by this.

I'd say they know once this deal is completed they know they won't be able to Taiwan for a while.
