I agree in principle but the risk is that if you miscalculate, you smash your own nose in.
I don't think holding Donbass is viable militarily. And if they try to hold it and get their forces wiped out, they risk giving up even more concessions.
So if the Ruskies are serious that their terms are Crimea, Donbass and no NATO, then Ukraine should take that deal.
