For me, the ball game comes down to Odessa, Kharkiv and Dnipro (and Zaporozhiza by extension).I don't believe the Ruskie Kiev 'diversion, bro' story, but I do believe that it was only their 'best case' gamble. South and East have always been their main goal.
If Russia takes none of these, it has lost. If Ukraine loses all of these, it has lost. Somewhere in the middle, a draw. Odessa in particular would be a catastrophic defeat for Ukraine.
