Are you saying that for you the morality of actions of a defender to an attacking soldier, and those of an occupying soldier to a civilian is the same?
I'm under no illusions that there's objective morality in war.

I'm sure the Ukrainians feel justified in their actions and I'm sure if you asked a Ruskie they'd have a justification that wasn't terribly different.

You mean subjective? Sure.

I mean the easiest example even outside of war is the owner of a place killing an intruder, versus the intruder killing an owner.
Same action, but morally and by law quite different.

Giving that the Ukrainians aren't invading Russia and doing civilians dirty, the "both sides" thing is a bit complicated here, no?

If you said what he said he would argue for your point. It's just the way it is.

I suspect he will feel Putins spokesman here was not allowed a voice.

The girl on the bike was clearly antagonising the orcs and was a threat.

Am i doing it right?

I was thinking of describing this thread as a retard whack-a-mole. You shut down one retarded argument and another immediately appears.

That's not quite accurate though. Often it's not a different retard-mole, but the same retard-mole you whacked a few days earlier, re-emerging as if it had never been smacked on its head.

So it's more like watching a carousel full of retards. You get to watch one wave his mangled, saliva-covered hand goodbye to you as he momentarily disappears from view only to be replaced by another. But you know you'll be seeing him again soon enough.

No, I mean objective. Subjective is influenced by feelings, objective is not. Morality is subjective to the individual.

That's absolutely correct. To expand on your example. If you decide to tie the intruder to a chair and pull his fingernails out with pliers and smash his toes with a hammer before killing them it starts to become a different thing in the eyes of the law although one might personally feel morally justified.

Giving that the Ukrainians aren't invading Russia and doing civilians dirty, the "both sides" thing is a bit complicated here, no?
It's definitely complicated. Granted, we don't really know the context of what the Ruskies are doing either as we're only seeing the aftermath. It's a time honored tradition for those conducting guerilla warfare to do so by any means necessary which is often what results in escalating attrocities. The good old days of set piece battles left the building 150 years ago.

BBC News report on now says in Bucha 24 girls aged from 14 to 28 were taken to a house basement and raped over a period of time. Over a week.

14 are now pregnant.

But lets look at it from both sides..

Far be it from me to question that this is legit, but member that the Luka map so far turned out to be bogus. No invasion of Odessa from Transnistria/Invasion of Moldova (for those with poor eyesight).

Could just be fuckery.
lol at you pushing up your glasses to “ahkshually” that post.

The most idiotic thing about the POW torture apologists you see on social media is that they don't get that it's not even morality that is the practical concern. The people with the 2nd biggest interest in Russian prisoners not being tortured...are Ukrainian prisoners.

If you're a POW, the last thing you want is cunts on your side filming themselves torturing enemy POWs.

Gj winning those arguments!

I can't quite agree. We have had our spats in the past, but he is getting a bit too much of a bum rep lately.

Granted, he seems to enjoy that.

What's your feeling on Azov today? Loose ends or great fighters who should be saved?

It seems to change on a daily basis.

I expect we will start seeing just how superior Ukraine really is to Russia on a battle field, hopefully they keep getting close to what they need in weapons, if that isn't a problem Russia stands no chance at all and how they thought they did is a....??? They simply can't fight, and it's real obvious they aren't going to be taking on a NATO nation. Kinda wish they would actually, that way we can watch Russia's army totally destroyed.

Really wish something inside Russia was being attack, talking terrorist types, start burning down some buildings there.
