Wait that wasn’t a Russian tank running over the car?

have you seen the "Generation Kill" limitted series with Alexander ScarsgardThis is honestly the piece that I've been waiting to see. What do Russian logistics look like?
Logistics win wars. You can't do a damn thing without food, water, ammo and fuel. The United States is exceptionally good at this. It is routine for us to move a few thousand troops anywhere in the world at any time. This is a massive undertaking for most countries. Russia has 100,000+ troops and planning not just to invade but supposedly take over to nation build.
We are really really good at this piece and even then going into Iraq with dubya found huge issues getting ammo and armor to the right locations and the right people. Some of that was the stateside supply conflicts but that would probably apply just as much in corrupt russia government institutions.
Just look at how ponderous the mobilization and staging was. It took them months. This is honestly the piece that I've been waiting to see. What do Russian logistics look like?
