There's a possibility of something crazy happening wherever the president goes, these 2 in the same place probably should elevate the threat level a little bit I'd think.

It wouldn't surprise me if Putin visited the cathedral but I wouldn't bet on him going out in public with a guy who's security has failed him repeatedly.
 
JBER is a pretty massive base, probably bigger than most of Anchorage itself. It's pretty secure and I would bet be on high alert. I can't imagine a more secure place that's public.
