finally.... thanks for backing me up. see i knew i'm not the only one who thought that it was/is a mistake.....
I never said it wasn't a mistake homie. I agree that it should have been done differently.

But holding a soldier responsible for political choices is like getting mad at a pipe wrench when the plumber breaks your toilet.

Can't remember exactly, but it was quite eloquent. Most Iraqi midgets are. But then there was this one in a small dingy club in Amsterdam that tricked me in to rubbing his head for good luck. I won't gratify your dirty carnal minds and tell you which region I am speaking of, but I am now a changed man-- after scouring myself with Clorox,Pine Sol and becoming born again.

Go on again and do your Jihad thing again, stop talking about rubbing the little heads of eloquent Iraqi midgets.

I actually read the papers every day, and the internet, for most of the five odd years the war took place. Actually we never officially declared war. I don't know what red hoops they were trying to jump through. Sure Saddam and his sons were a nasty bunch, but what we did to them was far far worse, in any reasonable estimation.

Like i said, i am not the only one who was against the war, and i certainly aren't now.

The fact that at least some of you, called an innocent civilian who fled from iraq, a pussy traitor or something like that (i can't remember the exact words) says nothing of his guilt, but a hell of a lot about yours im afraid. You made this mess.
So you ran, then instead of actually making a impact on what you believe you go on a internet forum and argue with people. You sound like you dont even believe the bullshit you talk.

If its so important then go back and do something about it. Im sure your marching 1000s of miles away means so much to the people of Iraq.

No it doesn't, but most of us here in the uk wouldn't even go so near to blair as to spit on him. And most of the general public opinion, now is that the war was a mistake. So it's not like we didn't achieve anything....

I didn't run away though. I was kicked out, then homeless, i have slept in plenty of crappy accomodation, including hostels and shelters, i have made friends with the homeless, cos i have been homeless, i have brought a woman over from africa, because i loved her,i have flown over to africa, against the wishes of every one in my family, to see the girl i haven't seen in person since she left in 2000, i have had her make me a man, and stood up in a british court, to fight for her visa on appeal, which i won, i have studied hard with a bunch of ninteen year olds at university for five years, nearly half my age, and left with a good degree (2.1), i have studied martial arts on and off, the last news being a gradind the other side of the country, which lasted four hours, and i broke my big toe, but went ahead and did the grading, where i had to perform all of the moves with uke, and i had to remember them, and the other wanna be yellow belts who were grading (about ten of us) just copied me, and i won that, what else, oh yes i have been the only father my now nine year old step daughter has ever know, from reading peppa pig to her when she wasn't one (in the holidays i had there), to taking and bringing her back to school, and going to town with her these days, now that she is old enough to to manage it.

So you've been in the army right, and done martial arts?

Good for you!
