I feel that way about Nate, not Nick.
Quite the opposite, Nate is WORLDS more social than Nick. Don't get me wrong, they're both super great, but every time I've seen Nate, he's been super cool (he didn't have to be)... Nick takes quite a bit to warm up to you, and even then, you can tell he's figuring out how he's going to wreck you.... He's like the human version of the Jurassic Park Velociraptor.

It's precisely because of this I come to my conclusion.
If Nick let's you in, he's already made a fair assessment.
Nate seems to be ready to laugh, have a beer, then throw a straight right all within 10 seconds.

A long time ago, I sparred with Nick a couple times. This is back when he was still 17, maybe 18 years old. We weren't great friends, but we were friendly. I did fine with him the first time, because I was already a grown man with a fair amount of boxing experience. The second time, just before sparring, we were walking through the gym, and I had my back to Nick and turned around at a moment that he didn't expect me to. He had been staring at my back with a deep scowl on his face. I was like WTF... And during this second sparring session, he wasn't overly mean, but he definitely got the upper hand, by a lot.

Problem with Shaub is he's starting to believe he's the only good analyst out there. He only does things 100%, he can't just work on this fight he's got to think he's the font of knowledge on it and that people should listen to him.

Combined with some of the utter bollocks he's started spewing.

I don't know any American jocks. But he reminds me of the classic American jock.

I like Brendan but you're right. He very rarely thinks he's wrong...unless talking to Rogan, hah.

Schaub's a bit delusional. Did Conor "win" a couple of rounds on the scorecard? Yes. But let's be real. Floyd allowed him to win those rounds, with the game plan he employed. Let Conor throw a bunch of high paced hard shots the first couple of rounds, and gas himself out. So saying "Conor beat the GOAT for 4-5 rounds" is a bit of a stretch. Did Conor represent himself well? Absolutely. He should be proud of his performance. But Floyd dictated how the entire fight played out.
100% agree, dude.

There really didn't look like there was any chance of Conor winning despite the success he had. The best shot he landed was that uppercut in the first & Floyd ate it just fine.

I like him too. But he's going on this weird tangent at the moment of thinking he's the only business man and pundit out there. He'll soften in a year or two but it can be annoying to watch him screw himself over a bit. He likes conflict so he can talk about it on his shows.

I don't have too much of an issue with him overall, but this is absolutely an accurate statement
Me neither. I actually like him. But I can still criticise. If he read this he'd call me Cheeto fingered uneducated idiot. Because he himself has his own issues and can't believe some other people in the world can take criticism and move forward

I was riding Conor's nuts hard for this fight but during the fight, I've got the impression Floyd could have ended this any moment of his choosing after the 2nd round.

I love the diaz brothers. But I feel like I cannot hang out with them. I could say anything and I might get my ass kicked accidentally by a misunderstanding.
Nates just a chill dude in person. Jovial even but when you say something like that you have to expect a "fuck you" and the bird. I'm not much of a Schaub hater but I felt what he said to Nate was disrespectful. Especially when it was to validate his egregious predictions and commentary on this whole circus. And not for nothing Nate was right lol

My dream scenario is during next Rogan's fight companion, the Diaz team storms the place and fucks everyone up and it is actually recorded for prosperity.
well deserved after he played the UFC video of the "simulation" of him spinning back kicking Nick Diaz to a TKO
