nah, Eastman's lawyer friend told him that he better get a good fucken lawyer after January 6th lol

Eastman went on to plead the 5th over 100 times lol

the main people today were Pence's advisor and some Judge that i think was part of Trump's team. i cant recall specifically

it was pretty bad for trump tho

- he was told numerous times that they couldnt reject the electors
- Trump had a 1 on 1 with Pence where he said "if they say you have the power to do it, wouldnt that be cool?" Pence replied that "no. it wouldnt be cool. no single persons should have the power to reject the legal votes of americans"
- Trump published something saying that Pence and his teams both agree that Pence can reject the electors
- Pence's team reached out to Trumps team like "wtf. thats the exact opposite of what we said"
- Trump continued to pressure Pence in tweets leading up to January 6th
- rioters breeched the capital
- Pence barely escaped the rioters (they were within 40 feet of him). he got down to loading dock/parking spot
- Trump found out the capital was breached and published another tweet saying that Pence let down America
- Secret Service told everyone to get in the cars because they were fucked. so most of Pence's team got in the cars
- Pence refused to leave, saying that he wouldnt give the rioters the satisfaction of scaring him out of the capital on the day he would approve the next president
- Pence then went back inside and did it after the capital was cleared

something like that

also worth noting that Proud Boys have confessed to having plans to kill Pence if they had found him
Some of that doesn't add up, however if Trump was told "Listen fuckface, you can't do this" and did it anyways, then he absolutely shouldn't be allowed to run again.

Also, Pence is a gangster.

thats the main gist of days 2 and 3

day 1: outlined what was to come

day 2: evidence that everyone around him (except Guiliani and Powell) said that he lost the election. but he kept lying about fraud so as to raise money for a "official election defense fund" that didnt exist. instead, he padded the pockets of himself, his friends, and his family

day 3: evidence that everyone around him told him that Pence could not reject the electors, but Trump kept telling the public that Pence could anyway

its also worth noting that people like Jason Miller told Trump he lost the election and Pence cant reject electors behind the scenes. but then Miller would go on Fox and spew Trumps lies in both scenarios

and yeah, i didnt even do Pence justice. Pence's advisor said he got in the car. and most of Pence's team got in the car when Secret Service told them they had to go. Pence didn't just tell the SUVs not to leave. Pence didnt get in the SUVs

i fucken hate Pence. but he was a badass in this situation

and i stand by the fact that Trump should have been removed from office back when he told Ukrianina president he would withhold the funds unless he investigated Biden

Trump should have been removed and Pence should have been our president all the way back then

Since 2014, the United States has provided nearly $1.5 billion worth of military aid to Ukraine to help them fight off Russia which invaded the country in August of that year.

By July 2019, the Trump Administration had not delivered nearly $400 million in US support – including weapons, training and advisors – that Congress had previously approved for Ukraine’s continued efforts.

On July 25th, 2019, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky asked about the aid on a phone call with President Trump, to which Trump now infamously responded, “I want you to do us a favor though.” Trump asked the Ukrainian President to investigate Vice President Joe Biden – a potential political opponent in the 2020 presidential election. Withholding desperately-needed military aid for a political favor is, by definition, a quid pro quo.

On September 26, 2019, the White House released a summary of the phone call that confirms President Trump’s effort to pressure the Ukrainian president into searching for political dirt on Vice President Joe Biden.

On October 17, 2019, Mick Mulvaney, President Trump’s acting Chief of Staff, admitted at a White House news conference that President Trump froze the military aid in an effort to pressure Ukraine into investigating Democrats. After confirming the existence of a quid pro quo, Mulvaney said: “Get over it.”

i heard the phone call. there was definitely a quid-pro-quo

Zelensky is an unreliable narrator because he is at the whim of recieving aid from Trump, who was president at the time he made that statement
Z is the last guy anybody should trust...he is protected and projected by the highest of high

Of course, we obviously all sense this

That all is contingent on the victim feeling pressured. He said he wasn't. The end.

Based purely on what you've told me, it's not clear yet, but it ain't looking good.

You should listen to the hearings. It's alot different hearing Trumps own team explain what he did as opposed to reading notes that a known anti-trump, progressive TMMACer casually threw together

You have to hear them say how they told trump over and over he lost. How denying electors is "fuckin crazy"

How his own cabinet discussed invoking the 25th on him. Shit like that

Isn't that what politics is about?

This is another event in a long line of such behavior.
No. Corporations have a strangle hold on campaign financing due to the republican appointed Supreme Court justices ruling on Citizens United

It's corrupt. But it's legal

What Trump tried to do was reject the vote of the American people. That's illegal

Today, it was stated that Pence said his speech at the Federalist society was going to be the most important thing he ever said.

And what he said there was that Trumps idea that he had the power to overturn the election was undemocratic and unamerican

Oh, I understand. I'm not even saying your summary is inaccurate. But so far a lot of the smoking gun evidence comes from people whom would be deemed to be a dubious relevance in a criminal case.

That being said, given that Amerca's Mayor was his lawyer, if he told Trump that it was allowed and Trump was following the advice of his lawyer, you aren't going to see a lot happen.

Who's testimony was it? Eastman?
I love how you have absolutely no clue what is going on with these hearings...... yet you've spent the last 16 months shilling for these cunts, parroting their bullshit about these being sham hearings, and reciting all of Tucker's canned lines about how nothing that happened on Jan 6 was important at all, nobody really did much of anything wrong, and there isn't a real, continuing and serious attempt to dismantle American democracy which is still being backed by the great majority of the Republican Party.

Oh and you still attempt to pretend like you're some neutral, unbiased observer who just calls it like it is.

Pathetic. This sort of shit is exactly what makes you a moron clown when it comes to American politics.

It's "not clear yet" that Trump attempted a political coup, and that he and the GOP which is in thrall to him are and continue to be a very clear, very real and very serious threat to American democracy? On a level that none of us here have come close to seeing in our lifetimes?

But the evidence for that isn't quite there yet?

What a clown you really are.

??

Sounds like shady politician shit.

So who do we want as the next president? Isn't that what this is about?

Endgame is?

I'm not sure that will hold up

American was founded on rebelling from a monarchy. His own team told him that its retarded to think that a VP alone can determine the next president

That's not what this is about. Elections determine the next president

these hearings are an investigation into the events lesding up to and during the riot of January 6th

I understand. But let's say you're like "I' want to buy a boat." 6 people tell you that you can't afford a boat even though you really want one, and 4 people tell you "Fuck yeah, bro. Boats are awesome!" The vast majority of people are going to be buying a boat. It's human nature to put more weight behind the words of people who are siding with you.

I wonder if any money changed hands when those GOP'ers were requesting pardons from Trump over J6?

Just asking questions.
