That's not what this is about. Elections determine the next president

these hearings are an investigation into the events lesding up to and during the riot of January 6th
OK

I think that is exactly what this is about

I still wonder what the endgame is, and what the repercussions of it being held/broadcast so publicly are

I understand. But let's say you're like "I' want to buy a boat." 6 people tell you that you can't afford a boat even though you really want one, and 4 people tell you "Fuck yeah, bro. Boats are awesome!" The vast majority of people are going to be buying a boat. It's human nature to put more weight behind the words of people who are siding with you.
That is an even dumber justification than I figured you would come up.

Should it all be held behind closed doors? Would that make you less suspicious?

The "endgame" is that one faction wants America to remain a functional democracy, and the other faction doesn't. That's the endgame for the GOP - to do away with the concept of power sharing altogether. They are quite open about it.

These hearings are showing valuable information

Like Jason Miller swearing under the oath of office that he knew biden won the election. Then they show him on Fox saying there was fraud

People deserve to see that so they can realize "ohhh. So trumps team intentionally lied to us. Does that mean this whole thing is a lie?"

Yes. That's what it means. They are intentionally lying to their rigjt wing supporters then and still are today

Ok got it.

Glad the "Left" is not lying to their supporters

What I am saying is I see where this ends.

Exactly where it started.

The hearing are very long. And one of the guys spoke unbearably slow, even ar 2x speed. So I'm not doing today justice

Here's a better way of wording one of today's takeaways

Trump knew that Pence was going to approve the electors. Yet he riled up the crowd to blame Pence if he didn't do the right thing

That endangered Pences life

Is it a crime? I don't know. But it was very fucked up. People wanted to kill Pence

I hate the fucker and wouldnt mourn his loss. But in no way shape or form does he deserve to be killed for approving electors. Thats insane

They did the first Episode during primetime in the US.
That is not normal and that is for a reason.

Is Trump a fool and corrupt? Yes
Is the "Left" any different? No

Primetime debut with a producer from ABC
