At some point, do you think you'll ever get around to admitting that Trump as a politician isn't actually a hilarious troll, and has had real and devastating consequences for the nation?

I mean, you'd think that losing two centuries of the peaceful transfer of power and having the President suggest that he's fine with an armed mob murdering his VP would have done it, but............ apparently not.

At some point, you have to acknowledge that he actually was totally and completely unfit for office, and he actually has done huge and possibly fatal damage to American democracy and political discourse. He changed the Republican Party from Romney and McCain to MTG and Boebart.

I've never denied that Trump is every bit as bad as Biden, and is actively tearing down the edifices of representative government.

But what would have happened if Pence had been killed? Would it have been better or worse for Trump?
