Was a hurricane. Downgraded to a TS. Still very dangerous. The further west this cunt goes, the better (for me).

I went mountain biking today. Started raining at the end of the ride. This is what it is now after cooling down from the clouds and temp drop from the storm that blew in. We haven’t had to many real hot days so far this year, but way, way more rain than normal; so the humidity has been a lot higher for a couple months (around 70-100%, normal is probably 40-50%)

what is the water temperature of that lake?
I don't know about kalamalka lake but Okanagan lake is like 28 degrees right now.you got to get like 30ft off shore to get cool water and it's 800ft deep in the middle. That is about 82f

How the F is that water so warm?
That place is interesting as far as weather/climate goes.
I need to check it out someday.

It is never usually that warm.july 1 usually marks the end of spring run off. this year it ended weeks early.the week of 40c+ weather warmed it up quick.i am hoping we don't have a kokanee die off this year as the big lakes are full of landlocked sockeye that always seem to be struggling.i don't see the warm water doing them any favours .wood lake has a nasty algae bloom right now

This morning was great (for summer). I got up and went mountain biking early, and it was around 70-75 and full cloud cover - which is a nice break from the normal full sun. Super humid agin, as it rained yesterday. Right after I got back home we got another half inch of rain, and now it is back to full sun and up to 90 with 100% humidity. Another storm is supposed to blow in, so maybe we’ll get another temp drop again.

We are well saturated, so at least some of the neighborhood idiots won’t accidentally set anything on fire as they drunkenly launch fireworks tonight

Not even possible.

You are fake news.
Well, it’s raining off and on today. I suppose more accurately I could say it’s 100% while raining. In between the last two bursts the sun blasted us for an hour or so, and since it had just quit dumping a half inch, it was pretty damn humid and heated up quick.

you know what I meant…but ok, it was 99%

It's fucking cold here!

View from my driveway as I was leaving for work last night. That mist isn't rain, it's just freezing droplets. Photo never shows it properly, but still:
