ya there is nothing quite like 33c and smokey . over that smoke is blue sky . it should be a nice summer day . we might get rain on sun/mon but im not holding my breath . last rain was june 15

You lived out west so you should know this. My brother used to live in Vegas and he told me they went over 100 days without rain one time. When the west gets rain, it's a monumental event.
Google sunniest place on earth. Went over 4 years one time. And yes you are correct when it does rain there it's like a monsoon

As annoying as rain is sometimes, it's not difficult to understand its necessity. And never getting it is a huge drawback to living out west, which I generally consider to be better than the east in terms of weather. Granted it's our wet season, but I would estimate that it's rained here 5 of the past 7 days, possibly 6/7. But even during our dry winter season, we still get rain at least once a week.

My cousin lives in Orange County but he's from the east coast. He said when it rains there you check Google Maps and the highway is full of accidents. No one knows how to drive in the rain because they so rarely get any.

Hope it stays ordinary for y'all.
Weather continues to be nice here. Mild for the season, we haven't had a heat wave in mid Michigan this year which is unusual.
is that north or south of you?
How often does the wind bring it to you from that location?
We always get fires here, but the wind direction can keep your air clean or fuck it up badly.
Any rain in the forecast? Those clouds look decent, maybe a good wet system in the future?
We got some smoke all around us but the inland flowing ocean breeze is keeping air clean for now, another heat wave coming in tho...

That is to the north .today was the first totally smoke free day in a couple weeks.it was a beauty.even now it's not bad.as soon as the wind changes though it ain't gonna be good
