our chicken little government has terrified the nation….Again.
I had to return home. Got half way to work. Turns out the storm was quite strong.
Any sexy sheep?Actually a very pleasant midsummer day in New Zealand. Half past nine on Saturday morning, birds are chirping, very slight cool breeze...... should be a nice day.
??
Yeah, sheep jokes don't really work on me, sorry. To you guys I'm a Kiwi, but here IRL? I'm not considered a New Zealander. Legally, sure. But not socially. ?Any sexy sheep?
Blew the roof off the millennium domeStorm Eunice today in the UK. Gusts of wind 70 - 80 knots. Nearly blew my so far to the right I ended up as a Democrat.
What's a kiwi? I just assumed you shagged farm animals, I wasn't trying to discriminate.Yeah, sheep jokes don't really work on me, sorry. To you guys I'm a Kiwi, but here IRL? I'm not considered a New Zealander. Legally, sure. But not socially. ?

No. Was it a nice bus?Did you see the video of the bus that got hit?
Pussy.I had to return home. Got half way to work. Turns out the storm was quite strong. All trains have been cancelled. Had to assemble a crew to share a taxi home. Trees on the road and every ting.
Story time.
When I moved to the USA it was in October. In the November I moved to Yuma in Arizona for work. It was a cold winter. Then around January February the temperature started to build. And kept building. And building. It was roasting every fucken day and I wasn't used to it being from England. Then one day there was a monsoon. It was awesome. I'd not long had my 350z at the time so I went out driving in it, I was doing Tokyo drifts at 30mph. I stopped on a lane near some fields because I wanted to stand in the rain (this was the first rain I'd had in 6+ months) and while I was standing there like Andy dufresne my fucken hat was taken by a gust of wind and was getting away from me in the field. I managed to chase it down and has I was getting back to the car realized I'd just ran through a field in shorts during a monsoon and was caked in mud. Even better I'd left the car door open and the inside trim was fucken soaked.
I'll always remember it tho. First time it rained when I was in Arizona.
Storm ripped down power poles and everything, it was badass.
We’re about to get smashed up in 3 hours with a storm.
our chicken little government has terrified the nation….Again. Telling everyone to charge up their phones and laptops etc.
They are addicted to fear. 3 people will die. Some trees will get uprooted. Some trains won’t run.
It happens every February and March. You’d like to think the government would have some perspective. But no. They ramp up the drama.
pathetic
I think the death figure is standing at 3 atm. One of the people who died was in Muswell Hill where I used to live In the 90s.![]()
Storm Eunice: Highest ever winds of 122mph recorded in England
All but essential travel has been advised against as Storm Eunice hits the country.uk.news.yahoo.com
4 if you count Ireland, which I don't.I think the death figure is standing at 3 atm. One of the people who died was in Muswell Hill where used to live In the 90s.
Got lucky on that one. Sqeaked by a couple of decades.
I was proved correct. Trains were my let down. They cucked pretty early and fucked me up.4 if you count Ireland, which I don't.
But I think there's some unreported that will emerge.
Will probably be blamed on the new wind variety of covid
There will be some made up safe operation limit for trains on the lines. With the speculated wind speed set to exceed that by a shitload there's no way someone is gonna sign off on letting them run.I was proved correct. Trains were my let down. They cucked pretty early and fucked me up.
The limit was 50mph. It was trees being blown on the tracks that kyboshed my quest to London. Not speed of locomotives. There will be some made up safe operation limit for trains on the lines. Each driver would have to do an at point risk assessment to declaring themselves happy with safety before they took the train.
Wheras if they don't they will still be paid to do fuck all.
