The majority of people saying he done well lasting so long are the same people who said Floyd had no power and wouldn't finish it.
Anyone who thought McGregor had a chance or that Floyd wasn't going to finish him just didn't understand boxing. A 0-0 guy is not going to know how to pace himself for a 12 round fight against the guy with the highest boxing IQ in the history of the sport. Doesn't matter how many 12 rounders you do in sparring. I personally thought McGregor would not see round 6 and I'm a huge McGregor fan, so he impressed me in that regard.

Conor did what few boxers have the balls to do: step into another sport and compete. And he looked good.

Now, let's see Floyd follow him to the Octagon and look good. LMAO!

If he had more gas tank then you really think Floyd would have won?
Floyd dictated every aspect of the fight. Do you really think if Floyd had boxed Conor the way he did Canelo or Pacquiao, or Berto, Conor would've landed half as many punches? Floyd said repeatedly that he owed the fans this fight, and he delivered. Mayweather walked Conor down and gave him every opportunity to land that one shot everyone was betting on in the lead up to the fight, and then he walked him down some more. It kept everybody on the edge of their seats and entertained, then he pulled the rug out.

Conor made Floyd his bitch in the early rounds. He looked better than him in every aspect .

Pretty good but very reminiscent of post fight Diaz. It seems efficiency is his big challenge when he can't put guy out early. Good of him to be "normal" here and address Aldo's tweet like a pro.
This was post fight Diaz.

Connor did a good job. He did what he was supposed to do. He deserves some props but he still got served. The guy has been fighting in training for years. I never thought he was going to win but I knew he would last a little bit. Mayweather didn't have any tape to go on so it must've been difficult to game plan for. Especially seeing how McGregor was doing all that crazy windmill arm punching shit in training.
Good job Connor but you don't get no extra bonus points for staying in there longer and getting pummeled.

As far as I'm concerned, last night was a win for MMA.

Is there any doubt boxers can't fight MMA fighters on the street after tonight? Nope. MMA is the best combat sport. If you want to be able to defend yourself, quit the boxing classes and learn all the arts.

Yeah it's so obvious how Floyd would fare in a real fight that it's not even worth mentioning. But Floyd has enough money that we'll never see it.

Conor fought a quarter of a fight against one of the best to ever fight quarter fights and Conor lost, but he fared far better than anyone expected, and of course far better than any boxer who would ever attempt a real fight against a top MMA fighter.

Exactly and shit heads like kellerman who said Conor wouldn't even lay a punch on Mayweather and people calling it a circus must be feeling really stupid.
Imagine if Conor had little experience in boxing fights then what would he have done to Floyd.
