I'm on season four, and i can't find season five. :/
i tried to watch this series again not too long ago.i just couldnt get in to it like when it was on tv. i remember being a huge fan of this when it originally aired but now i found it too boring.there are great parts to every episode but i hate the shrink,carmella will always be a guard from oz to me,tonys kids are spoiled little bitches.
I'm in season 5 now. Spoilers below:
When Tony killed Ralph that was one of the most intense moments of the entire series for me. Shit was nuts. I hated that cock sucker.
Steve Buscemi just got out of jail on the show (Tony's cousin Tony)... he seems like a real prick who will betray Tone. we'll see.
Also, I hate Carm so much lol. And Furio. I know Tony is 10000x worse than her, but god damn it Carm, you should have stayed together for the kids :'( Then when she is bitching at Tony to stop taking stuff from "her" house, like the entertainment system, lol. That woman never made a dollar a day in her life and she thinks the house should be hers. PLEASE
Anyway.. Amazing show. I understand some people think it's kinda boring with the shrink shit etc. When I first saw it years ago, the first episode turned me off because of the shrink stuff and I dunno why. But once I gave it a chance, I just love it. I enjoy the slow pace a lot because I feel it has a great build to all the plots going on in the episodes. I'm a massive fan of old school 3 hour gangster films so I guess I have the patience.
Also, one last thing
Took this screenshot earlier from a quick, not even 5 second angle that was shown at the Bada Bing. Can any of you guys tell what is playing on the TV next to Tony, in the bar?
Found it funny, the Bing is usually alwyas showing boxing matches, but at this particular time (episode was in 2004 I believe interestingly enough), they were showing the UFC. I can't tell who that is in the cage, but still, thought that was cool lol.

Ah I see.. Maybe ebay? I know you said you have no net at home but, wherever you are using now perhaps.. just wanted to give a heads up, they have used versions of the seasons on there for under $10 in DVD form.. I got season 1 and 2 on DVD last month for $8 and $11. The outside of the boxes were not mint condition, but I don't care, the discs played perfectly all the way through.
If desperate I gotta recommend it! Beats buying em brand new for a buncha dough.

When Joe Pantoliano was notified that his character Ralphie was going to die he didn't like it. I mean he loved doing the show and Chase & co. loved having him there. So he told them, " if i have to go, I want to go out big". The tension had been building a long time. I didn't like how he beat Tracy to death. That was some powerful television.
My second favorite thing, after Tony being the greatest TV character ever. Was how good the writers were at coming up with characters that you would just absolutely fucking loathe with every fiber of your being. Let's be honest, few of the actors on Sopranos were top shelf, but the writing was so good, that if they could get it out, it was believable. Richie, Phil, Ralphie fuck me, I hated them all.

Fucking Tony in the hospital and shit, pulling at my heart strings WTF man. I hate this.
I was so glad when they capped Adrianna. I felt bad but when she was driving with Sil in the car I was like... please tell me this was all a plan to eliminate this rat broad. And I was right. That shit was fucking intense man. Couldn't help but feel bad but hey, she knew WTF she was getting herself into, and she couldn't even take a slap on the wrist sentence for Chris over the coke.. yet she was more than happy to reap the benefits of that life style except when it came time to pay for it.
When fucking Junior shot Tony.. man. I hope this entire season isn't Tony in the hospital, with all his scenes in a dream state. That'd be kinda lame. I know Tony dies at the end of the show I think, cuz I remember hearing it a lot when the show was still on air.. So I'm worried

Dude, I was wondering this for a long time. I think that happened in season 3, and I didn't wanna reply to this or look it up in fear of spoiling the show. I kept thinking he was gonna emerge and Tony was gonna have to go to war with the Russians.
But, I guess he WAS dead, lol. I rewatched the scene where Paulie finally got a shot on him, and when replaying, it definitely looked like he got hit flush in the skull. So, I wouldn't be surprised if he was dead
Still, I legit thought he was gonna come back and it was gonna turn into big thing. Nope... Unless he returns after the current episode I'm on (like ep 9 last season)
The Sopranos is not nearly the best show of all time but yeah it's pretty fuckin' awesome. don't bother that you know the end from spoilers, it's all about the journey. when I watched it I knew every spoiler from reading imdb and it never kept me from having a good time. sometimes a key scene is so wonderfully set up that you actually enjoy the fact that you were tricked into "forgetting" the spoiler.
IMUO (in my unpopular opinion) Seasons 3 and 4 are the best. that's when the show was going full throttle with multiple plots and subplots which IMO was better than the straightforward Seasons 1 & 2 where it would be Tony vs. Junior/ Tony vs. Richie;
starting with Season 5 they kinda stumped and kept going with the flow just milking what had been great. I couldn't believe when S5 started and they came up with the exact same plot device from every season - someone gets out of jail and comes back to cause Tony trouble.
