If you look, the two windows are facing different directions
I haven't read through the entire thread, but I haven't seen you say anything that you need to apologize for. You're good dude, I really appreciate you sharing in here. It's valuable to have your perspective on this.I’d like to apologize now if it sounds like I’m defending the guy. Not at all. We still have to come to terms with what he did and somehow reconcile that with losing a family member and while we have no sympathy for a man that does something like this, it’s easier said than done.
We feel the loss of not just him but everyone he killed and hurt more so because it was the actions of one of our own.
We have family scared and paranoid about potential retribution. Some are stricken with sadness at the loss of life a member of their family has caused. Others are confused and “dumbfounded” (as my FIL expressed on tv).
Family members on the west coast are having heart issues from the stress (legitimately).
Grandma (the shooters mom) is in her 90’s and is trying to cope with the fact that her son could do something like this.
The whole family has to live with the fact that the family name has now sunk to “most famous mass murderer in our history”
Sorry to unload but it’s all very heavy shit to deal with in the wake of the worst public massacres in our history.
National Rifle Association pundit Antonia Okafor told Fox News on Wednesday that it was a mistake to discuss gun control following mass shootings because it encourages more massacres.
In an interview on Fox & Friends First, host Heather Childers asked Okafor to comment on the calls “for more gun control” following this week’s mass shooting in Las Vegas that killed 58 people.
Okafor began by expressing “heartfelt condolences to the victims,” but she insisted that Democrats talking about gun control after every mass shooting is “the definition of insanity.”
“Do you think they’re doing a disservice, that in fact they are actually accomplishing the opposite of what they’re trying to accomplish by bringing awareness to gun control?” Childers wondered.
According to Okafor, Democrats are “the problem” because they bring up gun safety laws following every mass shooting.
“We have Baltimore, we have Chicago, we have St. Louis, we have all these places that are ridden with violence,” the NRA pundit opined. “And we’ve implemented more and more gun control as the years have gone on. So, the policy is not working.”
Okafor concluded by finding a bright side to America’s epidemic of gun violence.
“One thing I love about — unfortunately — these tragedies that happen, the reaction from the American people coming together,” she explained. “And one thing I think we’re very good at is problem solving. And so I believe if we’re willing to change the direction that we’ve been in before… you know, we voted for President Trump because we wanted a difference.”
“I think it’s important that if we listen to our president, if we listen to the leadership and the advice that he has in the future going on forward that we can actually make change in this horrible circumstance so that this doesn’t happen in the future,” Okafor said.
i disagreeEnock, you are a fucking nightmare, you swarm to every single fucking disaster pretending something has happened other than the catastrophe at foot, like it's not as fucking terrible as it is. When you did it on Sherdog you were horrid and you are as well here, it's a shame you've made your way here because this is a nice site.
talking guns?...that confuses meI’ve seen zero evidence to support there being a second shooter. No overlapping weapon reports, no talking guns... nothing.
2 windows were broken. That clearly shows the fact of multiple shooters.talking guns?...that confuses me
I don't get what his point is. We had 483 mass shootings in the US in 2016. 273 this year so far. So when exactly should it be discussed?
Not really2 windows were broken. That clearly shows the fact of multiple shooters.
According to CNN.
Hannity. Instead of dismissing the idea of even bringing up gun control, Hannity engaged in the debate. "I've always been a big believer in that you always have to be prepared to defend yourself," the host said. "I've had gun permits in New York and Rhode Island and California and Alabama and Georgia. I was trained in the use of a firearm by my parents, who had connections to law enforcement."I don't get what his point is. We had 483 mass shootings in the US in 2016. 273 this year so far. Reports from people who were being shot at are not reliable. They're about the least reliable thing in an investigation.Listen to the police scanners for that one
There were reports of shots on the ground and many floors
So... you're planning a conspiracy to mow down this many Americans. You're telling the people that there was a shooter on the 32nd floor. Where do you put the actual shooter? Probably not on the 4th floor, right? How stupid would you have to be to do that?Maybe just one shooter, on the 4th floor? And Lue's uncle was a very unfortunate pawn in something much darker than anyone can imagine. I hate to even go there, but by all accounts, Stephen Paddock wasn't someone who would own 50 guns, have 20 of them in a hotel room, and have the motive or capability to do something as heinous as this.
I never want Sean Hannity anywhere near me, no matter the situation.Hannity. Instead of dismissing the idea of even bringing up gun control, Hannity engaged in the debate. "This guy has got a machine gun," the host said. "How are they going to take him on without a weapon? Or if it's happening within a crowd, if it's happening San Bernardino, do you want Sean Hannity, who is trained in the safety and use of a firearm, in that room, so when they drop the clip and start to reload you've got a chance?"
23 machine guns. Probably an ode to LeBron James.Hannity. Instead of dismissing the idea of even bringing up gun control, Hannity engaged in the debate. Honestly, a low trajectory gives each round less chance to go inbetween people...even lining up heads at similar height...sick thought but true.So... you're planning a conspiracy to mow down this many Americans. Sure, but my question had nothing to do with actual tactics in killing people. If you are going to lie to the American people in 2017 when everybody has a camera, and you're going to tell them that one shooter killed people from the 32nd floor of the building. It would be very stupid to put a second shooter on the 4th floor and just cross your fingers that nobody gets the video on a cell phone. That's what a lot of people miss with conspiracies- if the government is conspiring to do something like this, they don't make mistakes like that. They're actually good at this, and even I would know how dumb it would be to try to pull it off the way it's being presented in this thread.Honestly, a low trajectory gives each round less chance to go inbetween people...even lining up heads at similar height...sick thought but true.
Just answering your question...not really following this event so I have no idea what really went on.
I hope this was just a random sicko...If it was a black op for gun control then that is far more disgusting than a lone wacko...sadly this story will be spun six ways from sunday and it will be hard to really know the facts.
FUcked up either way
I see your point...valid for sure...was just pointing out that it wasn't a tactically bad location.Sure, but my question had nothing to do with actual tactics in killing people. Is a 'black op for gun control' what you guys think would be behind a hypothetical conspiracy in this case? If it is, you'd have to simultaneously believe they planned this op with a lot of sophistication & also that they're incredibly stupid b/c gun control isn't happening for 3 years minimum.Honestly, a low trajectory gives each round less chance to go inbetween people...even lining up heads at similar height...sick thought but true.

A flashing light in Vegas might be more common than a white guy in Wisconsin.I see your point...valid for sure...was just pointing out that it wasn't a tactically bad location.
All I am saying is they better have checked and locked down that room that had flashing light...worth looking into a flashing light that syncs up with gunfire at times.
A conspiracy is two people...I am not talking government...I just think everyone in the hotel should be a suspect until cleared and any room with opening windows needs to be examined forensically.
IF it was an Op...the waters would be intentionally muddied with many different oddities and theories...aka disinformation...and that is what you will see in any thread discussing this attack.
She got back yesterday, and was immediately brought in for questioning by the FBI.The woman picked up for questioning in Las Vegas? That can't be his gf. She is confirmed to be in The Philippines.
1st part was mentioned in an earlier postReports from people who were being shot at are not reliable. They're about the least reliable thing in an investigation.
Guys, the internet exists. We all have cameras. Zero second shooters were recorded. Also, if you're planning a conspiracy based on one guy why would you include a second shooter, which would make the odds that you're caught skyrocket astronomically? If they were going to shoot at a crowd with more than one person, they'd fake a second shooter. It's really simple. If this is a conspiracy, whoever did it is not that stupid.
Source? She got back yesterday, and was immediately brought in for questioning by the FBI.
I saw one theory from that guy "John" that this is about selling security machines and services. But imo if it is a conspiracy, it could be about anything. Is a 'black op for gun control' what you guys think would be behind a hypothetical conspiracy in this case? Holy fuck that's a horrible choice of words
