LOL @ that guy.

says who?

uh, all of them.
I just dont understand how the polls can be so close when the rally sizes are so far apart. Thousands vs hundreds. I know some polls are rigged but the Breitbart one showing Hillary in the lead really has me scratching my head.

I am wondering if the people saying Hillary on these polls will even go out to vote given the small following she has or people are afraid to say they support Trump. What I see on a daily basis, in a state the polls say is tied just doesn't add up. It's Bernie or Trump signs, stickers, and mentioned in conversations.

It's possibly because the most fervent supporters show up to the rallies. Trumps supporters in most cases are much more passionate about it than Hillary supporters but he's turned so many people off that he's ONLY getting those passionate supporters and none of the people that lie in between.

I'm not saying that that is what is happening. I'm merely offering a theory.

That is one problem with stating so many opinions in the way that he does. It kind of alienates a lot of people that could be up for grabs.

Yea I agree 100%. A passionate voter is more likely to vote as well. It takes effort to mail in the ballot or go to the polling place. Not sure how much of a role it will play we'll see.

Agreed. I definitely feel that his numbers in polls are the more bankable numbers. If someone is stating that they plan to vote for him then god damnit!!!!! They're going to vote for him. The question is can he pull anyone away from Hillary or can a 3rd party pull enough away from Hillary to make her vulnerable. It's going to be interesting to see how it all plays out.

I think part of it is the energy that people like Bernie & Trump bring. Trump, more specifically, also benefits from celebrity. I don't think all the people showing up to the rallies will vote, some just want to see him. others for the spectacle. same thing happened with Ron Paul. I've been to a Trump rally for shits & giggles, but would never vote for him.

re: Hillary, there are probably a couple things @ play.

1) her voter base is older & more reserved. the status quo. not really the type to knock on doors, plant yard signs & be vocal. they will quietly show up & vote. Plus, there are also a number of people (IMO) that want nothing to do with Trump or Clinton but will still vote for Clinton because of Trump.

2) IIRC, a number of her rallies were closed to the public and mostly for donors & such. I've seen a few memes comparing crowds when one was open & the other closed. Hillary likes a very controlled environment.

with that said, there is no denying a YUGE difference in rallies, but that doesn't always translate to votes. Ron Paul is a good example.

agree on that Breitbart poll being very telling.

polls are shit, but when someone like Breitbart (now an official mouthpiece of the Trump camp) conducts their own poll to prove media bias & Hillary is still leading Trump big, it's a sure sign of trouble.

& Trump doesn't seem to care, makes one wonder.
