What part of Tumps answer came off as good for the USA and their role in the international community?
He made a simple moral comparative asking why we should be so worried about Russia's image when we've got a reputation of our own to fix. Remember, we've been waging war in the Middle East for the last 13 years. And it hasn't been a very fair fight.

I hear that.

But PR rule #1 is not to acknowledge the nasty shit your country has been involved in.
Trump is calling out Senators on Twitter for crying fake tears. This is an unconventional Administration from so many aspects. I see what you're saying, but I don't think it was so bad all things considered.

What I find funnier is that CNN is reporting and opining on an advertisement for an interview that hasn't even aired yet. lol

I think it needs to be said.

“Exactly patriotic. My country, right or wrong. Which means nothing, unless you admit your country is wrong sometimes. Loving a country that was right all the time would be common sense, not patriotism.”

Well the way Trump did it was bad. You dont think saying that America / America's government is fully of killers will be prime propaganda material for the extremists?
Really? Well they could have already used that, I guess.

I would like to think it may help how we are perceived by the world. We have had the 'holier than thou' attitude which is a turn off to others. He refused to pass judgement on Putin while we have our own issues to deal with. I like that.

But I was raised taking my grandmother's words as wisdom. And anytime we started bad mouthing others she would say "Sweep around your own backdoor before you start sweeping someone else's".

Putin isn't very happy with Mr. O'Reilly's assessment of his character...

Kremlin says it wants apology from Fox News over Putin comments

The Kremlin said on Monday it wanted an apology from Fox News over what it said were "unacceptable" comments one of the channel's presenters made about Russian President Vladimir Putin in an interview with U.S. counterpart Donald Trump.

Fox News host Bill O'Reilly described Putin as "a killer" in the interview with Trump as he tried to press the U.S. president to explain more fully why he respected his Russian counterpart. O'Reilly did not say who he thought Putin had killed.

"We consider such words from the Fox TV company to be unacceptable and insulting, and honestly speaking, we would prefer to get an apology from such a respected TV company," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on a conference call.

Fox News and O'Reilly did not immediately respond to a Reuters request for comment.

I would expect no less from them.

Isn't it sad when we are so starved that even honor among thieves is respected?
