Just read an article in our media today about Trump smearing honey all over NRA's bumholes, and spreading fear of Hillary at their convention. All the while a couple years ago he was criticizing the Republicans for always catering to the NRA.
Factual?
If so, duplicitous?

The most I heard about any kind of contradiction was that he offered support toward Obama's statements (re: gun control) after the Sandy Hook school shooting. But I'd be interested to hear if what you say is true...

Also, your "Kabibble Dong Factory" joke didn't quite work. They spelled it "Kibble Dong Factory" which made it seem like I owned a Chinese dog food company. lol

Trump used to just be into air rifles...

Not real strong barrel control, just flagging himself and everyone...

His first showing at the GOP debate was quite impressive, though he didn't have the best trigger discipline...

Recently, he got it all together on his way to making a deal with the RNC...

"Trump hasn't always opposed stricter weapons laws. In his 2000 book, "The America We Deserve," Trump wrote, quote, "the Republicans walk the NRA line and refuse even limited restrictions." Trump wrote that he'd support an assault weapons ban and longer waiting periods to buy guns. While running for president, Trump abandoned those positions and fully embraced the NRA."

Has he abandoned those positions though? Trump is an incredibly logical guy, but he's playing a very calculated game to get into the White House. Unless he specifically retracted or contradicted those words, I see no problem with accepting an NRA endorsement, being a responsible concealed-carry gun owner and also fighting for common sense gun legislation.

Seems he has, and I don't really care if he is truthful or not in that, he caters to them and uses fear, that much should be clear.
Thing is, if Clinton or another politician would have done that people here would be all over that, but if Trump does it, he is smart. Got it.
He is so different from other politicians. :D
