Approval is not love, we are just aware that nobody is perfect, especially not a politician. She is like an amoeba that can work with the big ego's of the big parties.. it helps.
I personally never voted for her for various reasons, but she does have her pros and cons, and come on.. there are so many more important things than this flag incident, things that really matter.

When she took office, we had an unemployment rate of 11,7%, now we are at 6,5%, while actually having solid budgets. Our economy is doing fine, yeah, we are clearly going down the shitter. Its all so bad, we got out of the crisis soooo bad. Bla bla.

Speaking of unpatriotic, she was born and grew up in East Germany. And you know, that is not news to anyone. But believe it or not, this woman knows what she is doing.
You wanna toss her out for the flag stuff? That would be ridiculous.
It appears she doesn't love her country and the flag video was just a way to visually show that. That's all I took from it. A leader who doesn't have a sense of national pride is alarming to me.

I can see why you would think that, but that's not what this is, its a bit more complex. It was a stupid thing to do though.
Also caring about an abstract thing like a flag != caring about the people.
A leader who doesn't have a sense of national pride is alarming to me.
Why?
I wonder if she should still live that wonderful big love to mother Russia she grew up with and that was pounded into her brain. I'm not sure if you can relate to that. What you grew up with that was infused to you never went away / went bad.

Except Donald Trump.

When he was born all of the woodland creatures came to the cabin side to see his birth. I hear he has no butt hole so he can never break wind at the wrong time. I'm told he's seven feet tall and shoots Fireballs from his eyes and lightning bolts from his arse.

Now please excuse me while I right the wrong that is going on in this thread

Because if I am looking to vote for a leader of my country I want someone who takes pride in their homeland and wants to make it a better place. Someone who appears disgusted by their own flag shows they have some deep disdain for their country. It's a matter of opinion maybe loving your country is not an important factor for you but it is for me.I don't claim to know the intricacies of Germany as i've never lived there i'm taking what I see at face value.

i've been the top dog keeping this thread alive with the dank memes since Trump got the nomination. good to see you're back on the wagon.

I'll go ahead and refer you to both page one, as well as the total post count in this thread. You're late and behind. I'm under budget and ahead of schedule.

Now quit pulling on your strudel and bratwurst with your low energy, and post something good...like Ivanka.

On a long enough timeline, everyone becomes a Trump supporter.

Neil Young says he’s now OK with Donald Trump using “Rockin’ in the Free World”

Upon announcing his run for president in June 2015, Donald Trump pegged Neil Young’s “Rockin’ in the Free World” as his campaign theme song. However, he was quickly met with a cease and desist, with Young’s publicist saying in a statement that Trump was “not authorized” to use the song.

Trump’s campaign insisted they paid both ASCAP and BMI for rights to the song, but stopped using it “out of respect to Young.” The singer, meanwhile, turned around and gave Trump’s opponent Sanders permission to use “Rockin’ in the Free World” at his own rallies.

A year later, and Young has seemingly had a change of heart. In a new interview with Reuters, Young said he’d be fine with Trump using the song.

“The fact that I said I was for Bernie Sanders and then he didn’t ask me to use ‘Rockin’ in the Free World’ doesn’t mean that he can’t use it,” Young said. “He actually got a license to use it. I mean, he said he did and I believe him. So I got nothing against him. You know, once the music goes out, everybody can use it for anything.”
