Yeah and Trump looks so angry at his old friends here...anyone can find old shit that has some shock value today. Fauci is the one sane person keeping this pandemic from going in a worse direction than it already has.

It goes both ways nigga. Everyone loved Trump and as soon as he became President everyone and their momma and yourself called him every name in the book but he's still the President...

That ain’t no lie my friend. It doesn’t mean he’s safe from any criticism though. :)

I wonder why for weeks Trump was all about the governors doing it on their own but suddenly they're not allowed to? I get that Trump didn't want the weight of closing down states from a federal level and I get that he now doesn't want a failing economy during the election season but let the governors finish what they've started ffs. Cuomo seems to have it under control for the most part and I think it's wise to work with the surrounding states to coordinate an appropriate plan to open up together.

Man, I remember the days of when everyone hated on any politician for flip flopping on topics that opinions were years apart yet Trump does it daily and folks are all "rah rah he's the best!".

The absolute power part.. I don’t get how the 2nd amendment crowd isn’t freaking out over this. A govt trying to seize absolute control over the states, is that not a tyrannical govt? Time to bare arms and rise up!

Shutting things down wasn't a popular move. We're a big country, so leaving it up to the individual states is the only way to do it, but since it was looked at as a negative Trump was fine having the governors make the call and take that heat.

On the flip side, turning everything back on is a very popular, feel good move. Trump wants that spotlight.

States made decisions based on their region during the shutdown, and the same methodology applies when turning things back on.

All Americans are getting a refresher course on their high school Civics classes, and in a closed room I'm sure Trump is too. These are decisions made at a state level.

Moving forward, Trump will work with each individual governor to discuss when to turn things on. He'll likely spin it so he can take as much credit as possible, but at the end of the day it's up to the states.

Based black Democrat...

#MAGA!

"It's very simple to me. President Trump's handling of the economy, his support for historically black colleges and his criminal justice initiatives drew me to endorse his campaign," Jones told the newspaper.

"There are a lot of African Americans who clearly see and appreciate he's doing something that's never been done before," Jones added. "When you look at the unemployment rates among black Americans before the pandemic, they were at historic lows. That's just a fact."
In a statement, Jones highlighted Trump's criminal justice reforms, such as the First Step Act and granting clemency to Alice Marie Johnson.

"A generation of African American families have been devastated by draconian policies that Joe Biden supported and voted for when he served in the U.S. Senate," Jones said in a statement to CBS 46. "A change was needed and President Trump took action."
