Yes
We use a Dutch Oven often in the Conventional Oven
Not outdoors though, ours is ceramic coated iron...outdoors/camping I just use a deep cast iron

I use it like a slow cooker for all types of recipes...shawarma, pulled meats, etc...
I just ordered this:

Woke up to a bit of a surprise this morning. Snow in April?

Go back to bed Mother Nature, you're still drunk.

I won a bet with a friend so he bought me a Garmin Striker 4 sonar/GPS unit. This is great unit and is highly recommend it to any one with a boat of some sort. It’s the portable unit so has everything you need except a transducer mount for a belly boat so I made one myself. Bit of PVC and astrong engineering skill set and you’re out catching more fish than you can handle.

Interesting facts about Northern mockingbirds:

1. As a native species and the state animal of Florida, it is illegal to kill, capture, or even disturb them in any way.

2. When males are looking for a mate, they will sing, not only all day but also all night (even if it's in a tree right outside your bedroom window).

3. They will not stop singing until they've found a mate. Again, that's ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT.

This fucking incel bird is keeping me awake at night (forgive my foul language):

like many, many bird species I believe they are also protected under the MTBA (Migratory Bird Treaty Act). Same kind of thing - can’t kill, harass, harm, disturb, etc.

Not that there’s a ton of enforcement or anything for mockingbirds, but nonetheless “protected”

I saw two Golden Cheeked Warblers today on one of the conservation easements we work on, and also heard others farther away singing

I see them each year but still kind of cool I suppose, as they’re one of the two species of local endangered songbirds. Only around in the spring, so there’s a little window each year to observe them.

I ended up going outside and shaking the tree. He fucked off long enough for me to fall asleep. Probably to right outside someone else's window.

I could only take so much of this shit:

I'm still going to laugh when the annual "mockingbird attacks people who get too close to its nest" story comes out.
