Wild. I didn’t know a wingfoil was a thing.

but a fast motor seems a lot cooler, right? ?

it was fun cruising around on the foil, but I’m happy to use my buddies. I didn’t think they would be quite as expensive as I discovered. I already have expensive toys/hobbies, I can’t handle another haha
E foil is fun of course but I like the muscle - or nature - driven stuff better myself.

Arent you a biker more so than a motorbiker as well?

Not my photo. Saw this on iNaturalist. Attempted predation of an adult brown anole (Anolis sagrei) by a juvenile knight anole (Anolis equestris). Both invasive.

@Cody

jason73 @jason73 tagging you because I remember you telling me you had a knight anole as a pet and it ate a garter snake you put in its tank to keep it company.

Scared this dude up a tree during a hike today.
Thought he was going to pounce for a minute, but he quickly realized I wasn't some pussy from Florida and he decided against it.

Thanks
I will
Not my hands or my crab though
My hands are calloused and my arms are hairy and tan

Limit of Dungeness is 12 here...If you get bigger ones it can be a score of a half day
Made an amazing Crab Mac and Cheese
Next batch will make a Crab Bisque, pretty damn tasty even though it gives me the sniffles from the dairy

Also got some great flies from a new website. TheFifthScallop @Thefifthscallop do you still buy any flies or make all your own? If you buy them do you know of a good site to order online from? So far these look like good quality but time will tell.

Those fires are no joke.
They've shut down the CN in parts of BC.
It’s so nasty some days. Ash build up on my all my stuff in my backyard. Two weeks ago it was so bad I stayed home from work as my eyes kept pumping out that gross discharge trying to clean out the shit. Could barely read from blurry vision.

Sucks man.
I know it isn't uncommon in the summertime out there, but this one feels really, really bad.

I moved here from Vancouver area in 06 and this is the worst I can recall as far as smoke in my area. I know in 03 there was horrible fires right on Kelowna. jason73 @jason73 would've suffered through that for sure. Wife and I went to Whistler in 2017/2018 for Crankworx and it was nasty then too. Feel bad for all the tourist travelling up to see the mountains and you can’t see the other side of the suspension bridge at the peak from the smoke.

I tie most of my flies, but there’s a few patterns(dry flies) that I occasionally pick up from the shop. I’ve never ordered any flies online, so I’m not sure where to go. I always recommend going to a local fly shop. Those egg sucking leaches will crush it though.

We’re installing a fire suppression tank kind of in the mountains and I found some bear tracks one morning. He must’ve caught a whiff of my scent and decided not to fuck around and find out.
