I just received a broadcast email from KY Transportation Secretary Jim Gray who has issued a Declaration of Emergency.
Drivers transporting fuel in Kentucky do not have to stop at weigh stations and they are exempt from normal hours of service restrictions...
...if they are transporting fuel for the following states:
Alabama, Arkansas, DC, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Virginia and West Virginia.
In effect until June 11

That said... I was still able to fill up this morning without having to go outside of my normal area.
What that will look like by the weekend could be very different though.
A good friend of mine had to go to 3 or 4 stations before who found one with gas.
