I do think TJ wants money right now, but it's not like he's already sitting on some sort of golden nest egg from his fights. But also, he has wanted to be a 2-weight champ for a long time, before McGregor and that whole thing. I believe this is also about his own aspirations as a competitor, and he's always been open about them.
