That's terrifying. I can't even imagine how hard it is to balance such a thing
Thank Christ there is a cover. There is no way anyone could relax if they saw that happening around their head.
Why the hell does it spin so fast. Is it creating some sort magnetic field, shooting electrons on from all directions s or something? And then mapping them out?
Ok I won't be lazy. I'm gonna look it up.
Per medical news today, "A CT scanner emits a series of narrow beams through the human body as it moves through an arc, unlike an X-ray machine which sends just one radiation beam. The final picture is far more detailed than an X-ray image. Inside the CT scanner there is an X-ray detector which can see hundreds of different levels of density."
