I hadn't heard that, but then I'm no China follower. That sounds diabolical.
I do understand that they are basically only a military superpower in their immidiate region. And they are formidable there.
They don't really have the ability to project power around the world.
The Chinese fight like Russians used to. The one resource they have in abundance is bodies. They just send wave after wave of meat at the enemy to wear them down.
He's used to interacting with bots and other mentally ill people in an echo chamber where all of his "Trump is a Nazi" comments get updoots. He's not used to communicating with people that have above room temperature IQs and actually think for themselves.
It's embarrassing, but he completely lacks self-awareness.
