The late stoppage is bad, but my issue with Mirgliotta is he "tests the waters" on a stoppage, he's done it other times too, he half steps in, makes contact with the fighter like he's stopping it, and then second guesses himself, jumps out, and then starts the fight again.
That's what could really get someone hurt. Guy on the bottom thinks the fight is over, halfway back to his feet and eats a few punches or a kick he isn't expecting.
