IMO Joe being so tired and looking chicken legged made them value the late 3rd round action heavier than it probably deserved to be.
These judges seem like average dumb small state AC illiterates. They misread the action the way most fans do. Like, if one guy bobs and weaves a lot, and the other throws like a girl, but the girl thrower outscores the bobber/weaver, they'll think the bobber/weaver won because he looks cooler.
I've judged on a card with a guy like that who was put in last second (sanctioned card). He hadn't trained a day in his life, but was absolutely sure he understood everything that was happening.
