No way Chris deserves a title shot after his last 4 performances. We have to stop letting people talk their way into the fights. As much as I dislike Yoel, he deserves the shot if Whitaker is sidelined.

Chris needs AT LEAST two more convincing wins before he is worthy of a title shot.
We're talking a guy who got destroyed by Rockhold, kneed to Bolivia by Gay Jesus, and had to try to cheat to save himself from the beating Mousasi was giving him (and the attempt at cheating didn't work anyway).
Now he beats a damn good fighter but let's be honest, Gastelum is not a middleweight.
I used to like Chris because I thought he defied the stereotype of the loudmouth, obnoxious New Yorker.
It appears I was wrong.

You should check again. He beat 3 completely shot, elderly fighters who can't compete in the USADA era and who weren't the biggest MWs.
The jab to Bisbing about his eye is a little much. This sport is very rough on the body and injuries can easily happen and it puzzles me when fighters can celebrate or make fun of anothers fighters injury. I mean hyping a fight is one thing and part of the sport but some things should be off limits. Cheers

Let's not act like Bisping climbed the ranks to get the title shot. His opponents leading into that fight were Dollaway, Leites and a tired Silva.
Then there's his "title defense" over the #11 dinosaur that didn't really go as well as he thought it would.
Not to mention they gave him more time to recover vs Anderson than Yoel in stool gate...Masvidal just made it public about him seeing BISPING drunk as shit getting out if a taxi and avoided Masvidal like the plague when Jorge was questioning him about the shit he was pulling with the Cuban flag and shit he talked lol
