put in a new gas water heater by myself yesterday.
well, technically two. The water heater is in a tight workspace with the garage fridge. I muscled it back in place, cut the box off, and the bottom was smashed in on the side. No damage to the box, looks like it got through QA...not a instilling confidence, AO Smith.
Managed to pick it up and set it on the pedestal without assistance. It's 5' tall, weighs 180 lbs, and you can't get your arms around it.

TIL that PEX is, in fact, code for all pipe applications - including the TPR valve outlet. I was going to save myself the pipe-sweatin work and just do PEX, but it was either buy an $80 crimper or spend an hour digging through my garage looking for mine. Fuck That, sweat it quick.

Those women have some big balls then. Most of the people quit after two weeks. Wanting to do something easier. Guess 400 cows an hour is to much for some. Turning women into men and men into ladies. We transgender motherfuckers here.
