Is that Cambord? I think you lost your way to the what girly shit did you do with your day, matey. That's what goes in French Maritins.
It's "chambord" you heathen. And shaken with straight bourbon it's fucking delicious. Stick to your spiced rum and cokes

File this under "man-card saved".

Washer stopped spinning.
Dangit, need a new washer.
Went washer-shopping 5 times, finally got one after everything was sitting in water for 4 days.
Delivery to the store was yesterday, so I pulled all the laundry out to wring out & hang-dry enough to throw it in the dryer.

Today I ordered the trailer to haul it..

Because I've been too whatever to unload & fix my cargo trailer lights...

Of course it's time to un-hook and unload the old washer.

When I open it, I don't hear the normal "click".
Where's the lid-click, I wonder.

It's broken, that's where.
So, I pull out the tools...

And get to work.

I pulled out the lid switch, and found the tabs which hold the switch together were broken off, surely after heavy duty useage.
Every time the lid now closed, it would touch the switch, then push the switch open, meaning separating the device.

So I cleaned it up, glued it together with some Gorilla glue, and strips of Gorilla tape.

So all in all, wasted time running here and there, procrastination, a $25 trailer, a new washer bought & transferred from one location to another, returned for full credit.
It's a rental, I feel like large appliances like this & refrigerators should already be in-home.
I had to buy both, so after correspondence with the owner, they agreed to pay $250 of the new appliance cost.

In a real man-move, I'm not gonna tell them I fixed it myself.
