nice. I'm sure you take much comfort in being the last to be fed to The Beast.
they're only depriving "those people" of civil rights without just cause.
I feel like you're making a solid argument to keep felons in jail until they kill themselves or die.

They would have to be within arms reach to do that without a gun. If someone has a weapon like that and is acting violent, either have a plan to disarm them, or get away from them. You don't have the same odds when a gun is involved.
what about when they're driving?
but are you really making the "only guns are lethal" argument that the gun-banners make?

seems out of character.

if someone is so unpredictably violent that access to a specific form of lethal force must be prohibited, then Yes.
I also think there should be a lot fewer felonies.

you commit an average of 3 federal crimes a day.

that's the TLDR; of the book. but you probably got that from the title.

or maybe not.
Please, what felonies do I commit?

I literally just passed 4 FBI background checks.

if you don't do some felonious shit when you're a juvenile, you wasted the prime years of criminal fun.

but don't get caught.
Yea, but what felonies am I committing now, as a non juvenile, everyday?

read the book. maybe the lights you put on the jetbote didn't have proper import stickers and now you're guilty of illegal interstate commerce. It's just a question of somebody deciding they want you bad enough.

you're denying the premise of the book without having even investigated it.

you're real attached to your I Believe.

When you say "give", what exactly do you mean by that?
Doesn't really matter.

I thought the obvious easiest answer to his question about who would be safe enough to be in society but too dangerous to run around with guns is small children.

And if there are clear exceptions there may be others, so his base argument doesn't stand.

I think it does. If my son is mature enough to shoot a 22 in my presence then yes I would give him a gun. Would I give it to him in the sense where he could access it without me, no.

The premise obviously was free access.
Otherwise I agree.
