Shrimp with rice and veggies for lunch.

Curried chicken thighs with rice and veggies. I made enough to cover lunches for the work week.

Quinoa with jalapeno and quinoa with shrimp to add to dinners throughout the week.

Lentils to add to dinners throughout the week.

Oatmeal for the morning.

Workout > breakfast > laundry > meal prep > lunch > cleanup > take the trash out. Done.

Now it's time to get drunk at a ball game.

If you tasted those fries you wouldn't even notice the perfectly done steak.

#IDontBoilSteak

Changed the seasoning a bit, but best damned fries I ever had.

Since I had my daughter I kind of forgot about this thread.

Comfort food time.

Rare steak, rotisserie chicken, home made velveeta mac and cheese with bacon and roasted potatoes which were then quickly fried in the bacon grease.

Breakfast burritos with cream scrambled eggs, shredded cheese, tomato, green onion and bacon.

Sausage and peppers

What kind of cast iron pot is that?
I see your edges are looking free of rust. Cant find a moderately priced one that doesnt rust around the edge after a few washes. I dry them fully but i think it rusts lightly just from contact with moisture.

NEVER wash your cast iron in a dw w/soap.
There are quite a few videos on how to treat Cast Iron, & it'll last generations with perfect cooking.
It's a lifestyle.

Ennameled cast iron too?
Im about to give up and just buy a full metal one. I dont like paying more and having to be real careful with enamel. I guess just no tomato sauce and it should be fine?

Banchan @Banchan , I also don't think that's cast iron.
It looks more like ceramic.
Doesn't it?
Am I seeing the right picture, green & white?

Its an enameled cast iron. Just very thin layer of glass baked on to the inside and out. Its supposed to be easier to cook any type of food without worry of rust but problem is the baked on glass is thin and fragile. The rim is just regular cast iron and thats why it rusts.

Similar to what I cooked for breakfast.
Green and yellow bell peppers, wallawalla onions, minced garlic Himalayan salt & cayenne pepper fried with redskin potatoes in olive oil.
3 eggs over easy.

I'd eat that. Nice work!
Another good option is to use sticky rice and make it the night before. I like my soul tea and sweets so even if you do red onion with some bacon or maple bacon even makes it super good
