wowLunches for the work week: Chicken thighs (tandoori seasoning), green beans (butter, garlic, & chili flakes), & sweet potato (BBQ seasoning)
I'm cooking some rice for the week now. I'll probably use some to put together a shrimp bowl later tonight.
That's like a chana saag daal mixComing off a two day hangover . . .
My imitation of an Indian Dal Curry, definitely not original recipe
Base: Chillis, Garlic, (didn't have ginger at home today and forgot to add black pepper) turmeric, '4 moroccan spices - mix', onions, tomatoes, small cut potatoes, butter-fat;
Lentils: Yellow Lentils, bay leaf, carrott, salt, water
Finish: Mixed all together, added canned chickpeas and and fresh spinach and fresh coriander leafs
--> I basically added wayyy more ingredients than usual while at the same time using much less spices. I made much much more than originally planned, but I will freeze some. Next time though I will use more different kinds of lentils.

All jokes aside, there is something called the Hamilton Beach breakfast sandwich cooker that makes egg mcmuffins. The double version (2 sandwiches at once) is something I've been considering purchasing.I made one too
In Belgium it's with a beef patty not a sausage one. It's basically a cheeseburger with egg and bacon.All jokes aside, there is something called the Hamilton Beach breakfast sandwich cooker that makes egg mcmuffins. The typical mcmuffins here are with Canadian bacon (ie. ham slice as far as I'm concerned), then there is one with sausage called the sausage mcmuffin. Traditional egg mcmuffins are the ham type, unless you specify otherwise.In Belgium it's with a beef patty not a sausage one. It's basically a cheeseburger with egg and bacon.
There are no sauces on the egg mcmuffin. It's just the bread, egg, American cheese (which fucking sucks - I totally think they should switch to cheddar), and ham.Oh but no ketchup or pickle
Never had one with Canadian baconThe typical mcmuffins here are with Canadian bacon (ie. ham slice as far as I'm concerned), then there is one with sausage called the sausage mcmuffin. Traditional egg mcmuffins are the ham type, unless you specify otherwise.
So if you walk into a McDonald's and order an egg mcmuffin they give you sausage by default? Interesting, but odd at the same time. Default in the states is Canadian bacon unless you specify sausage mcmuffin.Never had one with Canadian bacon
