For me, other than a few posters, books, framed 8x10s & 5x7s, I've got one thing that's my favorite - a signed photo of Shogun celebrating with Chute Boxe right after he'd won the PRIDE 2005 MWGP. Personally, I am not a big collector by any means at all, though I wish I could afford to be... One day!
I had the chance to see Shogun fight live in Boston in 2013. I'd had the pic below framed in my room for a couple of years before that. When I went to the weigh ins, I brought it with me in hopes of getting it signed.. and I did. Shogun was super nice to everyone and went out of his way to come take pics and sign shit for fans. The only fighters I'd really try to put an effort into getting an autograph from in a similar situation (like a public signing, weigh in or something similar) would be Fedor, Nogueira and Wanderlei. Those 4 guys (Shogun being the 4th) are solely responsible for my love of MMA, and I've looked up to them for a long time.
Hopefully one day I can get something similar signed by Fedor if he ever comes back to the East Coast of the US.. I'd never want to pay for something like that, it's only cool to me if I get it signed in person myself. Plus, Fedor autographs are like $100 on eBay for simple 8x10s!
Here's a few pics of the Shogun pic and a few other fight/music posters on one wall of my room. The Shogun/Chael poster is from the card I attended, the FS1 launch (which was an amazing card, despite the fact Shogun lost). I'd like to get a cheap black frame for that card's poster at some point. I need a new frame for the Shogun pic, because I accidentally got a 9x11 as opposed to 8x10, but never got around to getting a new one. Anyway, check it out:

Well it was a couple years ago in englanD. A BAMMA event iirc. me and a few buddies went along and traveled to the event. We went out drinking the day of and it turned into a bit of a session, as these things tend to do. Well come event time we roll up to the arena and low and behold randy is there after the ticket stands selling his new book. Naturally I wanted to get one. Pun intended.I Wild Each It;n18414 said:

Well I happen to have a Latin American last name, which people often assume is a nickname because I'm straight up white looking. I remember randy looking suprised, grinning a little and signing it. I must of been a little wobbly at this point because he chatted with me a little while about make sure I have a good night etc. We part ways and I go buy a big wwf pointing foam finger to complement my new book.
The even starts and a few hours later after a bunch more beers and plenty of fights I'm leaving my seat to go outside for a cigarette. I get halfway down the hall being extra careful to not look drunkenly and my buddy swings me around like "DUDE WTF!!!!"
I have no idea what he's on about, he explained he got up after me for a piss and saw me walking down the corridor head down wobbling about, in the other direction was a posse of guys whom I completely failed to notice and just kept heading straight with complete disregard for other travellers. I barged through them and they moved like what the fuck and got pissed And Voiced displeasure. Their ringleader, an ex ufc champion and hall of famer, recognized me from earlier, processed it, had a good giggle at my expense with his buddies and carried on.
Bear in mind I'm only a small dude and probably looked 20 years old max at the time.
I'm glad I look like a puss sometimes.
Bet randy glad too, I know I had a speed advantage
