It was an 07, the 3.2 v6. It is very quiet when you coast around but when you opened the throttle it made a nice noise. Same with the a3… but it's only 2 litre
My Mini makes a racket and it's only (I think) a 1.6 but a Cooper S so it’s pretty damned quick.

It's the S line. Not an S3 but it's listed as doing 148mph, which is only 2mph short of my minimum requirements, and given I only went 145 in my 350z (it got a bit unsafe) I decided 148 was good enough
I had a Miss Flynn for French in grade 8 or 9, she was mid-to-late 20s with a FANTASTIC ass. She'd wear tight jeans and legging and when she'd turn around to write on the board she had a way of swaying side to side so this masterpiece of an ass would just wobble back and forth. It was the only class I would sit up in a front seat for. Never heard a god damn thing she said. Best teacher ever.

Fastest I've ever been in a car was an Audi my housemate had as a courtesy car after stacking his A4. 164 rings a bell, on the A3 into Guildford.
It was an estate too but it was nippy as fuck, don't recall what time it was but it was dark and the road was completely empty.
