Well, if I were used to climb up balconies, sure, but I am not.. so yeah, I probably would have taken a ladder and secured myself with a rope, and took the dog down, rather than to climb up and pull it back.

You need to be a bit creative in putting it.. I worked on ladders on balconies before, hence I do have a ready-made ropes for that kinda thing. Its still much less risky than free-climbing the thing.![]()

This would be my method too.I would go up a flight of stairs and kick in that guys door, then walk to this patio to get my dog.
