Would you do this for your dog?

I'd like to think so but it's easy to speculate on your hypothetical heroism. Once I started to climb out and found I only had a finger or two on a precarious piece of Colombian tile 6 stories up, I may try to figure out a different solution.

It most likely wasn't even his dog..
Well, if I were used to climb up balconies, sure, but I am not.. so yeah, I probably would have taken a ladder and secured myself with a rope, and took the dog down, rather than to climb up and pull it back.

you're just going to head down to the local shop to grab a 100 foot ladder?

100 foot sounds a lot, but I do have a ladder that is about 3 meters high, should be enough to reach from the balcony below to the dog.

someone doesnt know how balcony's and ladders work.

My dog can jump 3 feet high from a stand still. It's a non-issue because I wouldn't let her out on a balcony.

I don't have a dog, but I'd do it for my gf's dog...if it was the neighbour's I'd probably call the fire department and hold up some sheets or smth just in case😀
