Worked at a checkout at a supermarket for $6.84 an hour when I was 16. Worked there part-time til I was 18 when I was getting about $11.50 an hour, still mainly working at the checkouts but also doing other jobs when needed - fruit and veg, stacking shelves, cleaning shit up etc.

Not the best job (obviously) but in hindsight taught me a lot about fiscal discipline, and being flexible and good to others.

A concession booth at the local multiplex, selling popcorn and soft pretzels.

I looked sexy as fuck in that uniform.

I did all kinds of stuff for money when I was a kid. Baby sitting, cutting lawns, trapping leaches or catching crawlers for fish bait, helping out on a farm all kinds of stuff I'd do.
The first job I was taxed was bartending at a casino. I was 18. I couldnt drink legally for 3 more years but was surrounded by booze, waitresses, and slot machines. It was pretty cool. I made alot of tips.

Newspaper delivery - but first "real" job was as an assistant to a Sharebroker.
I really wanted to work on Wall Street.
I'd hate to work on wall street.

I'd be down for banging all the hot chicks and getting fucked up all the time though

grew up on farm, so tough to call a job 'first job'. Any work done for the neighbors you were expected to politely refuse money until they started to get genuinely offended. Push-mowed my grandparents' yard every week for $5 when I was in 4th grade. Their yard was ~ 1.5 acres. All other work on the farm or in grandma's 1 acre 'garden' was done under threat of whoopins. Mowed our 3 acre yard with a 13" push mower for a couple summers after my parents divorced, but that was a 'no fun until the yard is mowed' arrangement.

First 'paycheck' was detassling corn when I was 14, started baling hay that summer and successive summers, until I could get a car/license/insurance.

Dominos pizza I made 6.75 an hour and only worked 20 hours a week. I used the the money to buy a 1986 chevy celebrity 2 dr coupe eurosport pimpmobile that had a top speed of 75 mph. like this one but burgundy with spray painted black rims

I could sell pizza to myself and friends for 2 bucks or get the reject pizzas for free, I could buy the wings for a dollar or get the returned wings for free.

I actually felt like a grown man in HS because 75 % of my friends didn't have jobs.

Rally's hamburgers. Not a bad gig during my sophomore year in high school. Free food, also gave out a lot of free food to chics from my school which probably helped me get laid on occasion. Good times.
Those chili cheese fries are pretty magical.

aside from hustling now and laters in fourth grade.. and the after school newspaper routes at the age of twelve.. i did enjoy a dish washing job at the age of sixteen to pay for the car insurance.. also dug the backyard so pops could build a swimming pool when i was 13.. prolly stripped and painted the fence about 11.. definitely picked apples at the local farm for 10 cents a bag cuz my mom picked them for 5 cents a bag or two back in the day.. now i think of it.. my parents employed slave labor on me.. and i should be totally triggered.
