This pretty much sums it up. These days we use a lot of rhetoric to describe situations, often to magnify a response. How many times we call soeone Hitler, or compare things with slavery, Apartheid, or the holocaust.
Exactly which is why i wish people were just honest and say I just hate X. Say i hate Jews, I hate black people, I hate Muslims, whatever it is just be honest and then we can have conversation when we know where the other stands.
Reality is reality, opinions are opinions. You cant have a discussion and use your opinions as facts. You have to actually look at a full situation and be real about what is going on. Now does that mean i am totally happy about how it is all going down, no way. Sure i dont feel pity for the scum that run these places but of course their are innocents who just want to live in peace and be happy. That is where it get murky. Sure some people like me will half jokinly and half seriously say nuke it all. The serious part is to just wipe the scum out in one shot and no chance of leftovers, the joke part is we would never do that because of all the innocent people.

Although re; the holocaust, at least some of the hatred there came from what they perceived to be a threat/injustices of the times, it wasn't just purely irrational racism.
And re; Israel, at least some of the foundations of the state come from some notion of racial superiority, I think a lot of the hatred they get now is because of the settlements and bullying, again not just purely irrational racism.
The hatred is because they are on the other end swinging the stick now and no one likes that. The other stuff is just so they have an excuse to say WHY they are hated except for the obvious I just hate Jews answer which they all know wont fly or get them sympathy.
I honestly think you'd have trouble finding people who just hate one group or another just because. Its usually due to actions, circumstances and injustices that build resentment. You can't take legit criticism and angst over physical circumstances and then just say 'oh be honest you just hate them all' for no reason
I suppose some hate is taught/learned though, for instance in the heyday of the British Empire, racism I'm sure was just a given, a part of the natural order of things. They were just raised to believe in their superiority

Yes you are right about the Hardcore Jewish people. They are rough and even hate some of their own. Yes i do think people just hate to hate. They will develop their own reasoning to justify the hate, same as people will justify anything to make what they are doing seem right. I hate what is going on PERIOD, but i am also someone who thinks if we let our guard down with so many that want us all dead it will be foolish and we cant afford to have a mistake like that made. As much as im sure most wont believe it, but we do need a Jewish state.

Sometimes it almost seems like it all must come to a head pop before it can truly begin to heal. Perhaps we are seeing it now. It certainly wasn't getting anywhere until now, lol
Personally I find it all very interesting when viewed upon in the same biblical manner; that specific prophecies are happening etc... but you are right we need to forget ideology sometimes and just think of the real lives and families that are living through this, from any different perspective

I will make a long story short about how that happened to me and what is funny is their was a movie made with the same plot. When i was younger playing ice hockey i was very good i got chosen to play on a team that was dominated by players from don bosco, bergen catholic etc you get the idea lol. I was keeping it on the low that i was jewish because i used to hear lots of shit talking and didnt want problems.
