LMAO. That's pretty bad.

I don't much like going to the theater. I'll wait until it hits cable, so you can look forward to my review in 2019.

Yeah it's pretty bad, people went CRAZY when some Irish guy ruined it's perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Godfather, Godfather 2, Goodfellas, Shawshank Redemption, Raging Bull, Good Bad and the Ugly, Pulp Fiction - just a few movies that also don't have perfect 100% scores on Rotten Tomatoes.

'Black Panther' Only Has Three Negative Reviews And Australia Is Responsible For Two Of Them

"Of the 102 reviews of the movie Rotten Tomatoes has collated, only three of those are negative. And, we’re sorry to say, Australia is responsible for two of the three."

Dude is actually apologizing for his country that two people gave a negative review to a dumb superhero movie lol

Yeah. Exactly. At some point Sam Rami decided Venom was some emo boy bitchboy influencer. Yet in the comics and animated series the symbiotic creature made Peter Parker more viscious and hostile.

Which is why I am hyped for Tom Hardy being Eddie Brock this year, as his performance as Bronson may as well be the greatest performance I’ve ever seen.
Then see The Machinist. How Bale wasn't nominated for an Oscar that year blows my mind.

You forgetting the original black superhero?

DOG MAN X!

You kid, but one of the pet peeves about this movie's release is so many calling it "the first black superhero movie". Even Good Morning America introduced the cast as such... and I'm like... "Uh, Blade? Motherfuckers?". And even then Blade was Marvel's first. The world's first was actually Spawn which beat Blade to the screen by a year I think.

Anyways, here's my spoiler free review, because I hate spoilers. People who spoil movies should be cursed to eat a Habanero pepper, forget to wash their hands, and accidentally take a piss....

Review:
1. Temper your expectations. The hype behind the movie will lead to over-expectations. It's good, and it's different, but not the "game-changer" some reviewers called it. That's just some colonizer guilt talking  (movie reference).
2. Movie starts off well and moves quickly into action-drama territory. About halfway through, it picks up the pace and switches to full action-packed Marvel movie.
3. Most of it is self-contained in Wakanda, but there are a few other locations visited (London, Korea)
4. Wakanda really looks great! Kind of reminded me of the Grandmaster's planet in Thor 3; grimy, techy & cool looking.
5. The supporting cast putting in work, especially the women of Wakanda.
Side Note: Lupita Nyungo is a cot damn tasty SNACK!!!

The 'best' thing about the movie is the plot/ backstory, and how it's revealed on multiple levels. And how it affects the story. Very remenicient of Civil War where flashbacks (and a vision or two) gradually reveal the full hidden story.

The "so-so" thing may be the ending being a bit weak. Not weak "bad", but weak compared to the second half of the movie. Could have had more "oomph!" The first mid-credits scene (with a bit more explanation) would actually serve as a better 'ending' here.

The 'worst' thing may be something to do with the suit. The movie does the annoying Spiderman Homecoming thing where "the suit" makes up a lot of his powers - more than it should. Because it actually distracts somewhat from his super powers which are clearly explained throughout the movie. Oh and occasionally, the suit CGI - ironically reminded me of Blade 2 at times (the 'bouncy' effect which also afflicted most Spiderman movies).

Stay for the second after-credits scene, because it means someone has done something in Wakanda that affects a certain Marvel character that I believe will be directly revealed in Avengers Infinity War.

Nice review. Tough to do without spoilers I'm sure.
I still think I'm waiting for cable. I'm not big on the superhero movies.

9s, dark knight 9.5. Granted I've never seen most of them again. Except DarkKnight. Godfather is overrated. 8.5 at most. You know maybe a 9 now that I found out Brando was busting Richards cheeks. Going to watch this tonight. Hope this doesnt happen to me.

I rounded up a bit.
On the superhero scale, it's more like 8.3
So, the rest unrounded:
  • Deadpool - 9.4
  • Guardians of the Galaxy - 8.0
  • Thor 3 - 9.0
  • Dark Knight - 9.5
  • Avengers (1) - 9.3
  • Iron Man 1 - 9.0

Just seen it. Was alright. I enjoyed it. Wonder whats next after infinity war. Now that Fox sold the rights to its movies. Star Wars has me worried that they might fuck it up. Still cant get worse than DC.

You are right. Seen clone wars, not movie but animated series and kind of got some hope. But these last two movies brought that back down.
My dude, pinked. You being a bad boy? Oh well it happens. Not to me though cuz I'm civilized.
