Conor was at the point of quitting at the end of at least one of the rounds in their second fight. Hats off to him for rallying himself during the break but he was a lot closer to the brink than Nate ever was.I agree with the first part of this. Conor punched himself out thinking he'd knock Nate out, which wasn't unreasonable because Conor had knocked out nearly all of his previous opponents.
But I disagree that Nate could ever beat Conor again. Maybe if Conor came into the fight as unprepared as he was the first time, but that simply isn't going to happen.
At 155, with the extra weight Nate has to cut, Conor puts him to sleep in one of the first two rounds.
